“Great apartment in Plymouth”
My family enjoyed a recent stay at the Phoenix Quay Apartment. Apartment was spotless and had everything you would need for a stay. The only thing we could find to fault this was a poor signal on the television which limited our viewing. Would recommend this apartment to friends and would definitely consider booking here again if returning to Plymouth.
Excellent apartment - good parking place - secure property - not to far from city centre! great condition of the interior.
Excellent position between the Royal William Yard, the Hoe and the shopping area. Large balcony area very relaxing and quite. kitchen, lounge, bathroom and bedrooms are very clean and well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment and would certainly book again.
Hi we stayed in this apartment over the New Year period, and when the weather was particularly inclement for us during our whole stay. However this did not reflect on the standard of the apartment's amenities, which were excellent, nor the views from the apartment when the cloud lifted and rain stopped. We would stay here again without a doubt.
“Perfectly placed upmarket apartment”
We stayed here for the weekend after my son's passing out parade from Raleigh. Can't recommend it enough. Arrived later than expected due to flight delays at Glasgow, but Cathy was most accommodating, meeting us later than expected and showing us all the facilities available. The apartment is modern & stylish with 2 good sized double bedrooms, one with a tv, good wardrobe space, good sized bathroom & an elegant sitting room with balcony. The kitchen again is of modern design, with cooker, washer/dryer & fridge. There is also a tv in the living space, available wi-fi and all the other items you would need, iron + board, clothes airer etc. (including 2 umbrellas) Centrally located it only takes 10 minutes to walk into the city centre or in the opposite direction to Royal William Yard with plenty of shops, restaurants & bars to choose from. Would certainly not hesitate to stay here again if visiting Plymouth.
“Good Central Location, Good Accommodation with a couple of gripes”
Overall a nice apartment with just a couple of gripes. 1. Way too many mirrors especially the monstrosity in the living room. 2. Could have done with my lighting - we stayed in November and the lighting made the apartment look stark and dingy. 3. A £175.00 damage deposit is a bit steep especially when it is taken immediately but we had to chase for repayment - paid when chased but this was 2 weeks after the rental. Also not easy to recover as not only had to chase but had to claim money from paypal (who i dont trust) which involved not only signing up to paypal but also then having to ask them to transfer to my bank account which takes another 3 days. Not very impressed.
“Spotless modern& spacious apartment”
Loved our week here - everything in apartment was of an excellent standard. Balcony was huge and great views over the bay. Our kids are 6 and 10 -would not recommend to younger children just because they could climb/throw stuff over balcony but ours were fine. No microwave seems odd as everything else is there - even a large American style fridge freezer - and there was no tourist leaflets but can't really think of anything else negative! Would thoroughly recommend -we are considering booking for next year already !
“Upmarket, comfortable accommodation, centrally located”
All aspects of the stay were first class, meet and greet was well handled. We experienced a little trouble with the washer / dryer, the latter did not work, otherwise comfortable and very well appointed appartment. Would definately stay again.
Great alternative to staying in a hotel, especially for those who want a little more independance. Good location as within walking distance to ferry across to Edgecombe Park and with bars and restaurants in the fomer Naval base being 10 mins down the road. Apartment itself is clean, modern and has a great balcony.
“very modern and comfortable apartment”
A very new and modern apartment with free secure parking included. The meet and greet was very efficient. The Kitchen is well equipped but lacked a microwave which would be expected in a modern kitchen. The lounge would benefit from extra comfortable seating to add to the one large sofa provided. The advert gives the impression of open views of the harbour but there are buildings obscuring the view. However despite cold and wet weather we had an excellent stay.
