Spring is breaking through and the sunshine is becoming less spasmodic. You still need to wrap up but you get to explore a less crowded Devon. After lungfuls of sea air come back, put the kettle on and snuggle up together in our cosy lounge.
If you are looking for a quiet getaway by the sea. If you want to be close to all that Devon has to offer but prefer to be tucked away from the hullabaloo then this brand new, cosy caravan could be pleasing to your senses as well as your pocket. Fitted out with quality furnishings and sumptuous bedding you'll feel like you are in the home of a good friend. In winter snuggle on the sofa, in spring laze in bed with a cuppa, in the summer flake out on the sunny decking and in autumn watch the sun glint off the estuary.
The Blue Water site provides lots of space between homes, panoramic views up the Exe estuary and attracts those looking for relaxation and quiet contemplation. A chance to spend quality time with loved ones rather than being shoulder to shoulder with the hoards.
Dawlish Warren is a traditional seaside resort and an excellent base for walkers and cyclists, with fantastic coastal scenery on the doorstep and the lure of the moors but a few miles away. It is at the heart of a region burgeoning with proper pubs, micro breweries, a passion for local produce, outside events, historical sites and acres and acres of natural beauty. Soft sand by the bucketload once more stretches along Dawlish Warren beach. Come and encrust your toes, revel in the sound of sea gulls, bright coloured beach huts, melting ice cream cones and the tang of the sea.

We had the best time in this caravan an look forward to going back next year. It was just like being at home so comfortable and homely. It was great having lie ins every day.
Had a wonderful time in the "lady may". Exceeded all our expectations. It was spotlessly clean and was a home from home. Cream teas supplied on arrival. Had all the latest mod cons. communication was very good by ruth.we would highly recommend this caravan, and will definitely be returning next year. 5*.
“Peace and quiet on a lovely little site.”
We stayed in The Lady May for 5 nights end Sept beginning of Oct. Met Ruth, owner on arrival. Very nice lady, showed us the ropes and directions to supermarket etc. Caravan very clean and a pleasure to stay and use as a base to explore the area. There are all the amenities nearby should you need them but not close enough to spoil the ambiance. Enjoyed our stay here. On departing forgot some of our keys, left in the caravan. Ruth got them back to us by registered post at the first opportunity....Thank you Ruth once again.
“A fantastic chilled out holiday”
Not a bad word can be said about this Caravan, nor the owner Ruth. What a pleasant lady who showed us around her fully equipped beautiful caravan and the site on arrival and gave us tips for our stay. Waking early is the morning is well worth a quiet stroll to the viewing point that Ruth shows yo to see all the wild Rabbits running around. If you want a chilled out quiet luxury stay then this is the place for you, but all amenities are within a few mins walk, the amazing Dawlish warren beach, arcades, fair , pubs and restaurants are a 10 min stroll away. The open air market is just over the road and a car boot a few more mins up the road. We had a trip out to Chudleigh where they have a community solar powered heated outdoor pool which is open to the public 2pm-5pm which was excellent and very reasonable £3.50 for adults and £2.50 for kids (postcode TQ13 0LS ) On google maps i found a Cider Farm. Reddaway's CiderLower Rixdale Farm, Chudleigh, Luton, Chudleigh TQ13 0BN, on arrival we was greeted by 2 lovely Labradoor dogs, nobody seemed to be around but after a few mins the owner turned up on his quad bike and took us into the storage room where the Ciders are in wooden barrels , my wife sampled both medium and Dry and we ended up walking away with 5l of each... £7 for 5L is a fantastic price for real cider.
