From the owner

A lovely quaint 300 year old cottage in the small village of Combeinteignhead. The cottage has a beautiful appointed kitchen/diner. The lounge has original oak beams and wood stove. One bedroom with 4 poster bed and another double bedroom. There is a bed settee in the living room. Shower and claw foot bath. Private parking is available directly outside the cottage. The courtyard at the back of the cottage has furniture for outside dining. Two well behaved dogs allowed with prior agreement.

Very close to the River Teign, Shaldon & Teignmouth beaches, the market town of Newton Abbot and it's racecourse. There is an 18 hole golf course at Shaldon.

The cottage is situated a 2 minute walk away from the The Wild Goose Inn with excellent local beers and food and a lovely beer garden. Also 10 minute walk to Coombe Cellars Pub on the water front of Teign estuary with fantastic views.

Good area for water sports.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
