Description

Rose Cottage is an original fishing manager's cottage in the picturesque fishing port of Brixham, South Devon, U.K.

The Cottage has 3 double bedrooms and two bathrooms and is set over three floors. A very well equipped kitchen, a dining room with a log fire and a light and airy sitting room make Rose Cottage a delightful base for your holiday. Outside is a walled patio and raised terrace, with chairs and tables, perfect for a barbecue. There are many original features making Rose Cottage unique in the area. There is an extra pull out bed but please do remember to bring your own single bedding for it...

We welcome dogs and children and have a range of accessories to make your holiday easier - dog dishes, dog beds, travel cot, booster high chair and stairgate. Also a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, freezer and, of course, all cooking facilities and plenty of crockery, cutlery and extras. Free WiFi is available for 2017

Rose Cottage is a five minute walk from all the restaurants, cafes, shops and harbour side cafes of Brixham. There are also dog friendly beaches within walking distance and a park just up the road. Plenty more beaches and entertainment are a short drive from Brixham. Devon is a hilly county and Brixham is no exception - lots of narrow streets and steps connecting the various levels; very picturesque and if you can't face the climb, taxis are plentiful and good value!

There is free and unrestricted on street parking outside the cottage and in the surrounding streets

If you haven't been to Devon before, you won't be disappointed, a beautiful county with so much to do and see, you won't fit it all in to a week!

PLEASE NOTE: There is a pet surcharge of £15 per dog which will need to be paid at the time of booking - please let me know how many dogs you are bringing so that I can amend the invoice. Thank you....The bedroom on the second floor is not suitable for children or the elderly as the staircase is an original half spiral and hence is steeper than a normal staircase.

The accommodation is suitable for a maximum of 6 adults - A roll under single bed can be used instead of sharing the king sized bed in the loft. Alternatively, it can be used for an extra child.....I'm afraid we don't provide bedding or towels for the extra bed.

Although we provide bath towels and hand towels we don't provide beach towels - please be sure to bring your own...

Please remember to bring extra bedding if you wish to use the fold up bed for a child or the cot for a baby We provide bedding and towels for the double and king sized beds for a maximum of 6 people, but please bring your own beach towels..

I love the charm of Rose Cottage. Perfect location.Parking is a problem at times but worth it as you can find plenty of spaces around the streets.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Tabitha (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
