How we sort results
Properties on Holiday Lettings can be sorted/ranked in the following ways:
Relevance
Orders properties using various data points, in particular: ratings, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, minimum number of nights, and data relating to the interest in/bookings of the property through us, including the advertiser’s rate of providing quotes to travellers who make enquiries. Other factors include price, property capacity, number of photographs, location, amenities, appearance in search results, page views, and the advertiser’s responsiveness and cancellation rate.
Price low to high / high to low
Orders properties based on either (i) the property’s minimum nightly price, if the traveller has searched without dates, or (ii) the average nightly price for the applicable week of the year, if the traveller has input dates.
Total reviews
Orders properties by total number of reviews attached to the listing (highest to lowest), irrespective of average score. Where there is a listing with the same number of reviews as another (or a listing with no reviews), properties are sorted according to their proximity to the searched location.
“A hidden part of Heaven on Earth” I never knew places like this existed in Ireland. The setting is absolutely beautiful with the thick forests and gentle flowing river. The cabin itself was stunning, perfectly furnished, spacious and complete with everything you need to give you the comforts of home - from Sky TV to a dishwashing machine to a Dyson vacuum cleaner. The owners were extremely welcoming and friendly. I almost don't want to write a review because I want this place to remain a secret for ourselves but I would be doing the owners a massive disservice. They are lovely people and provided a perfect service. My wife and I brought our two Springer spaniel pups who enjoyed the stay probably even more than we did with long walks in the forest and their first swim in the river. The fact there is no wifi and very little phone signal just added to the peace and tranquility of the whole experience. If you are looking for a place to get away from the craziness modern world and recharge the batteries 36 River Valley is the place to go. I couldn't praise this place highly enough.

“Hugely impressive lodge, with great facilities” 5 friends and I stayed here on the June Bank Holiday weekend. We found Eaglewood lodge to be hugely impressive in terms of size, quality and facilities. We made the most of the BBQ and garden outside with the good weather, and on two occasions took a taxi into the town, which is about 10 miles away from the lodge, between a few people this wasn't expensive. The owner was very accommodating and made sure we were looked after for the whole weekend, Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their weekend and we would have no hesitation in returning again.

“Rural location peaceful break” Loved the light airy feel of the cottage. From the outside you may think it is neglected but inside everything is grand. It is warm , comfortable, ideal for one or two people. The cottage has been totally done up in recent years and lacks for nothing inside. The kitchen has all appliances , 2 rocking chairs for watching tv and a velux in the cathedral style roof that leaves the sun in in the evening to make it bright & airy & on a clear winters night you can look up & see the stars or the moon coming in. It is out in the country & a car is essential there , the nearest bus is about 4 miles away in Knockraha & the train is soon to open in Carrigtwohill about 5 miles. The local pub is about 1.5 miles away & the landlord there was kind enough to drive us back home one night we spent too much time there. For a country area the people are friendly and welcoming We used it as a base to see Lismore , we went to a traditional show at the Booly House in Ballyduff well worth going to see if it is still on when you get there ( I think it only runs during the summer) Went to Youghal , Ballycotton , Blarney Kinsale , drove back to Kerry. It is a good touring base

“Outstanding” Incredible location, great view - sun or rain. Plenty of things for all ages and abilities both on-site and around Mulroy. As for the cabin itself, again, top notch place. A home away from home and then some. Terrific book collection for those rainy days. As we walked through the front door we were already dreading having to go leave. Finally, the service. Damien was always timely with responses to various queries that we had leading up to the lease. All in all, we cannot recommend the cabin and the location highly enough. Well done Damien and well done Donegal (apart from the GAA :) )
