“Gorgeous, clean, warm, and very welcoming house feels like coming home.” This house is very welcoming and caters for both young and old. It has been built and decorated by caring hands to a very high standard. This was our first time renting a holiday home, we were unsure what to expect. We received a warm welcome from John and were made to feel very comfortable this was definitely a home away from home. My 5 year old little boy loved playing on the swings and John very kindly let him borrow a bike which he loved! The views and near by beeches are lovely and fingers crossed we will definitely be back again! We would like to thanks both John and Dolores for letting us stay in this truly lovely and affectionately now known to us as our holiday home. There was only one bad thing about Mia's Cottage – are stay was not long enough!
“To blame glebe” I have to say the accommodation was excellent and do was my host Tom who showed me the county of Donegal and his local knowledge. Everyone was very welcoming and so relaxed within staying here in Donegal. Definitely can't wait to see Donegal soon.
“Lovely country cottage” My wife and I spent a week here in June. A lovely secluded cottage in middle of forest just 5 minutes from Killybegs. Comfortable interior and cozy bed. Kitchen a bit dark but otherwise great!
“Old and new with a contemporary twist !
Loved the cottage and the location!” We spent a lovely relaxing week at Cavanaghs cottage during September ,Myself and my wife plus two young children under five and our pet dog ! The cottage was such a lovely space for us as a family and found it child and pet friendly, the owner supplied child gates and fire guards child seats, cot etc! Which was so appreciated as we hate loading everything into our car. The area has stunning beaches beautiful walks and great food , coming back to an open turf fire made my day, beautifully restored well done !
“Lovely!” Such a beautiful place to stay, and oh, so Irish! Full of character and restored with love. It felt like home - warm and cosy. There was an apple pie waiting for us and fresh flowers in a vase.
“A wonderfull relaxing break” We stayed at Crab Cottage in September 2010. The house is perched high up overlooking an unspoilt valley with great views all around, including of the sea. Although secluded, the house is surprisingly near to the village of Rosscarbery although the roads are pretty narrow and bumpy!
Inside, Crab Cottage is very clean, comfortable, well decorated and really well equipped – a welcome change from our other Ireland experiences.
When deciding where to go / what to see & do, we just followed the owners’ own tips (the “Not so rough guide”) which we downloaded from their own website – really brilliant!
We had a lovely week plus no rain at all!
“Brilliant house, great location” We stayed for a week in Eoin's Cottage at the beginning of August. The house was a great size for our family of 5, good spacious rooms, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The enclosed back garden and quiet development the house is located in meant it was brilliant for outdoor play for the kids. The house is located a 5 min walk from the village of Culdaff and the beach is within walking distance. We will definitely be back for another visit sometime in the future, first class.
