“A totally wonderful experience!” There are not enough words to adequately describe our stay at Rathmines Apt 1. We arrived tired and weary from a long flight, and were cheerfully greeted by Elaine and her colleagues. Even though guests had checked out earlier that morning, our apartment was ready ahead of schedule - which was a great blessing.
The apartment has everything one could want for a lovely stay in Dublin. So much better than a hotel room because we had room to breathe! It truly was a home away from home. The kitchen was fully furnished, and we were provided with eggs, milk, butter, bread, juice, and even chocolate cookies. There is a grocery store 30 seconds away, and all variety of restaurants within easy walking distance.
When Elaine found out that we were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, a bottle of champagne and box of chocolates suddenly showed up at our front door.
If you are planning a trip to Dublin, you should look no further. We have traveled all over the world, and this was one of the best lodgings ever!
“Location, location, location!” Stunning views across the sea from this lovely well equipped apartment were the icing on the cake. Centrally located oposite the harbour this lovely apartment was a superb choice for our 3cday stay in Kinvarra whilst doing our Wild Atlantic Way road trip. .
“Central, quiet, clean and all mod cons” Nice place, with everything you would need. Walk to the beach in 2 minutes, the pub and the town. Owner is very nice and really takes care to make sure you have everything you need. Would stay there again, if heading to surf and general r and r!
“As It says Stunning Seaside View Apartment” We stayed at this lovely apartment for a long weekend. It was really nice, very clean and well kitted out for all our needs for our stay. The apartment is right on the beach and the views from the window are amazing you can even here the waves while you sleep which was lovely and very relaxing. The lovely welcoming owner Mary was there to greet us on our arrival and explain to us all the ins and outs of the workings of the apartment and also gave us very good advice on local buses, trains etc. Prior to our arrival Mary had offered to arrange our taxi pick up at the airport which was really helpful. Michael the local taxi driver picked us up he was fab and very informative on the area giving us great advice on how to go about what we wanted to do over the weekend. The apartment is just a short walk from the town of Rush which is a beautiful wee town. We tried out all 6 pubs and found them all to be very nice and welcoming especially Walsh's with its lively friendly atmosphere. There is also plenty of eating places in Rush and we especially liked the Harbour Bar which was a 5 minute stroll along the beach from the apartment. Rush also has some lovely shops and a big Tesco to buy provisions. During our stay we also visited Dublin city center which is only a 20 minute taxi journey or you could use the local services but we chose to get Michael again who took us straight to the area we wanted to be in "Temple Bar". Dublin is a lovely lively city and a must to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful apartment and would highly recommend it. Whether you want a quiet relaxing holiday or a lively one this apartment and location ticks all the boxes for a great holiday and we cant wait to return.
