“Fantastic” Really good host and fantastic place to stay.Communication was fantastic with Anita and she provided amazing directions to the accommodation as I have booked with others before and the communication was very limited but this time is was great,
“Lovely well equipped property in a rural setting.” Stayed at this property for one week early September. We were a large family group in need of 3 bathrooms and lots of space. This property did not disappoint. It was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The owner Trudy was very helpful and had left toiletries and cleaning products for our use. Facilities and equipment very good.
Free internet access was very useful (no wi-fi).
Property is a short drive from Enfield where there are shops and bars. Furey's Bar/Restaurant was so good, we ate there 4 times during the week - only a 5 minute drive from the property.
4 white cats and 2 kittens visited daily and would sit outside the patio doors hoping to be fed. They never tried to venture indoors.
We spent little time at the property during the day as our plans included excursions as far north as Carlingford and south to Waterford - but we were always pleased to return each evening.
“HEAVEN” Absolutely brilliant location and bungalow. Totally ideal and
very well kitted out. We can not find anything to fault Gort na Cuile.
We all had a ball and enjoyed the nearby Malin Head, Five fingers strand
and the Seaview Tavern.
We especially enjoyed the daily drive to and from Ballyliffin via Malin
as we were working at the Irish Open golf.
Would definitely intend returning.
“Seascape” House was absolutely lovely, and very well equipped, a credit to Alison, however I felt the rule book was a little bit condescending, especially when you wrote treat it like your own home or better! I can assure you we treat our own homes very well. Our party consisted of a number of professional people including a bank manager and a doctor, and the rules set for us regarding washing of dishes and putting them back in the correct cupboards made our party feel patronised and uncomfortable. Still a beautiful place though
“Great place to stay whether with partner or all your family” We spent 3 weeks in the house in June/July 2013, first German grandparents allone, later with Irish grandson (1) and his parents, then with German niece and her 2 Irish kids ( 5,7).
We all loved the house, the garden and the decking. We didn't miss anything neither in the kitchen, the bedrooms, the bathroom nor in the garden. Lorraine's and Terence's house was very clean, they both were extremly friendly and gave lots of informations, toys for the kids or DVDs for some rainy days. We recommend this house to all people who won't miss shops, discos ... and who love nature and a peaceful surrounding.
“Large cottage with beautiful views” Great cottage for a quiet and relaxed holiday. The views are fabulous and the picnic table is a great extra. Property has large bedrooms. The walks in the area are excellent.
