Get away from it all and enjoy the luscious scenery of a secluded countryside setting by booking one of these fabulous cosy holiday cottages. Choose from country cottages in England, tranquil gites in France and cottages in Wales with log fires and breathtaking views.
You may prefer to visit the splendid country of Ireland and stay in a traditional Irish cottage - enjoying long leisurely walks before soaking up the Celtic atmosphere in great local pubs. Alternatively, choose a Scottish lodge by a loch or in the mountains and relax as you marvel at the beauty of the great outdoors.
For the more adventurous, look further afield and enjoy the serenity of a country cottage in a hidden overseas location. Pick somewhere in a peaceful forest or mountain setting and enjoy long walks or energetic bike rides.

Thank you for such a full and complimentary review! It is lovely in Vrigny, we go ourselves quite a lot and are so happy for our guests to enjoy our lovely cottages as much as we do. There are three cottages next door to each other and they would be great for several families / friends to come together. We are located centrally in the Loire Valley so within half an hour's drive of the main chateaux and vineyards. Management strive to achieve maximum satisfaction, and it is necessary for the guest to advise us of any kind of problem with equipment and facilities. The shower over the bath is a thermostatically controlled mains pressure unit and in full working order. Its operation is dependent on the mains water pressure and the problem was due to a fall in pressure over which we have no control. The shower unit is protective under such conditions to avoid scalding.
We clearly display our terms, which include charges for electricity consumed during the stay and charged at cost, as we consider this the fairest policy, as all our cottages have individual meters - the guests only pay for what they use and on this occasion, with a family of four, the cost was £6-39 over a period of eight days.
We rent out self-catering accommodation, and in our travel directions notify guests that they will be passing a Tesco store just two miles away en route to Hawksland Mill, thus enabling them to purchase groceries and refreshments exactly to their choice. We concentrate on the quality and standards of our accommodation with emphasis on cleanliness.
Guests should be aware that wifi reception has limitations on mobiles and tablets, which have small aerials, and laptops are advised, as our properties have very thick traditional stone walls.
