“Great house with amazing view” We were two families (four adults and five children) staying in this lovely house. It could have easily hosted another family as we had two spare bedrooms. The location near the beach was ideal and the view from the balcony was amazing. The house had all the things that you need and was well maintained and clean. The cinema room, with its selection of English language films, was great for the kids on rainy days and in the evenings. La Griere as a village has got a few decent shops and restaurants but it’s also easy to get into the bigger town of La Tranche sur Mer (either by foot, bike, car or using the free bus service). Owner was very friendly and helpful. Provided lots of information material about the house (and it’s appliances) and the surrounding area. We can’t wait to go back to this lovely part of France.
