“A little piece of heaven in Brittany” We've just returned from a wonderful week at Bot-Conan Lodge and everyone in the family can't wait to return! For our first trip to Brittany we could not be more pleasantly surprised, camp is located right on a lovely beach, with clear and shallow water. Weather was beautiful and every morning the beach was ours, kids playing for hours with the sand and looking for crabs in the ponds while we were trying to enjoy the beauty and serenity of the place. We had a great time with the canoe exploring the coast from the sea, following the coastal path we walked the day before. Arnaud and his wife gave us great tips on what to do and see around, we biked to La Foret Fouesnant and Beg Meil and had the best crepes there (we also stocked up with caramel beurre sale!). They were both extremely welcoming and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. The lodge was well-appointed, with comfortable beds and a very nice outdoor kitchen. It's fitted with two gas burners, a fridge, a water container and pretty much all the kitchen ware you need, the only thing missing perhaps was some basic stuff like salt & pepper. We also did a lot of BBQ (thanks Smokey Joe) and had delicious grilled sardines on our terrace. Hot showers and lavatories were well-designed and maintained too, kids liked having their own washbasin, and so did my back! They also had great fun with the chickens around the camp, plus nothing can beat fresh eggs in the morning! Fire pit was really nice in the evening, a great place to drink liters of local cider with the neighbours. Overall it was a brilliant holiday, thank you Arnaud, we will definitely be back !
