“Practically perfect in everyway.” We stayed at the farmhouse for 13 glorious days. The house was immaculate. Sheila and Tony were so welcoming and really had thought of everything. From a lovely basket of welcome goodies to all the essentials needed for cooking, to children's toys, an abundance of towels and even bikes to use. Nothing was too much trouble and they did everything they possibly could to make our stay perfect. The house and location was wonderful. So peaceful and relaxing but plenty to keep the children occupied. The pool was fantastic. Great to cook off and a good depth for young children. There are so many things to do nearby or further a field if you prefer to suit all tastes. Mont St Michel was particularly spectacular. We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at Lake Dathee. Warm shallow waters to swim in on a small beach, fantastic views and walks of Waterstones if you prefer. It was good to see the D day landings beaches and local towns. We particularly liked some of the family attractions especially the Enchanted Wood. Such a mix of activities to suit all ages and interest. Zip wires, quad bikes, boat rides on the lake, woodland path with varietals castles each telling their own stories. A great little cafe. Such good value. This was probably one of the best holidays we have had as a family. A perfect balance for us of quiet relaxation and day trips and activities. Sheila and Tony were wonderful and happy to answer any questions we had. We cannot wait to go back. There is still so much too see and do. I would highly recommend this accomodation.
