“Wonderfully quiet, clean and cosy centrally located weekend retreat for two” This lovely small appartment, with the added bonus of a garden off the sitting room, is ideally located in the quiet residential district of New Town in Edinburgh which is a ten to fifteen minute walk into the City. There are lots of interesting boutiques and places to eat nearby. We would highly recommend this rental and hope to visit again soon. We arrived late and our hostess had left us all the essentials and smoked salmon and sparkling wine!

“Edinburgh Fringe 2015 - The return!” We were delighted to find the location of the apartment was literally round the corner from The Royal Mile, however once down Old Assembly Close and in Tron Square you would never know the hustle and bustle that lies ahead - very quiet apart from the occasional revellers returning in the wee hours making a short cut through. The apartment is equipped to a high standard and we found everything we needed. Our son and his fiancé joined us for 4 days and although the sofa bed in the living area was perfectly adequate, it's a little tight for 4 adults, that said, due to the weather being exceptionally kind to us, apart from sleeping and breakfast we were out and about the rest of the time. A very minor detail was the lack of recycling facilities and the forest of flyers/newspapers/brochures that the fringe generates had be thrown in the bin! Would definitely recommend 16a Tron Square to anyone looking for accommodation in the heart of it all!

“Cosy place” Beautifully renovated place and feel in love with it the moment you walked in! We didn't have a car but city centre is only about 10min walk, located in a quiet residential place. There is also Tesco superstore and Sainsbury local nearby. Highly recommended! Would definitely come back!

“Ambrisbeg Cottage *****” A comfortable, cosy and relaxing retreat in the countryside. We stayed here 2 nights while completing the West Island Way. Our warm welcoming and helpful hosts offered us 3 bicycles, which we used to get to the starting points of our hikes - a great way to discover even more of this beautiful island. We absolutely recommend this place!

“Lovely quiet apartment in the heart of Edinburgh” This is a lovely apartment in a quiet cobbled street in the West End of Edinburgh, five minutes walk away from all the hustle and bustle of Princes Street, the Castle and beyond. We were up for the festival which was understandably quieter than usual, but still busy and great fun. The apartment was well equipped and communication with the owners was good. ( thanks for the welcome pack!) There is a pub directly below which does excellent food and we had virtually no noise from the pub at all other than when we were in it! The apartment is on the top floor up some concrete steps that are a bit worn in places, but once inside it is fine. There is a Sainsbury’s five minutes walk away and a great Italian restaurant again five minutes away on Shandwick Place next to the Fox and Faun. There is a small book in the property on walks in Edinburgh- we made good use of that and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting, especially the Water of Leith walk which takes you on a tranquil amble up to the Dean Cemetery which is next to the National Museum of Modern Art (free) with the collections of Miro, Picasso, Dali and so on. We will definitely book again ( if they will have us back!)

“Great location; attention to detail” My wife and I, and our four year old daughter, recently stayed at The Imperial. It is a great North Berwick location -- close to shops, beach, bars, sights, etc. The apartment is very clean and the owner has paid close attention to many details such as very nice soaps, towels, beds, etc. It also is extremely kid-friendly, with books and toys and games for use. Also, the bedrooms are not facing the street. So although it is centrally located, it doesn't sound like it -- even on Friday or Saturday night. Highly recommended.

“Would definately stay there again!” My husband and I loved the flat! His mum lives in Musselburgh and it was within walking distance to her home. The flat was modern and very clean, had everything we needed. The bathroom was my favorite- gorgeous tile and lighting with a huge tub. We had the most relaxing stay-- didnt wake up until 11 nearly every morning! My husbands only complaint that there was no tv in the bedroom- but it didn't bother me much considering we didnt fly to Scotland to watch tv!

“Amazing!” This apartment is the nicest I have ever stayed in. We booked it for my sister's hen weekend and we were delighted with the accommodation. It was immaculate and so comfortable and what was also really nice was all the little quirky extras(hotwater bottles, gingerbread men, tunnocks treats). It's also an excellent location for all the major sights, shopping and nightlife. I would recommend it to anyone - as would all the other girls that stayed there too. Thanks Stephen and Belinda, hope to be back soon one day!

“fantastically located and appointed to the highest of standards” Kitty was wonderful from first enquiry to close of play!Nothing was too much trouble for her. She settled us in, made sure we were happy with everything. The flat was of the highest standard; very well appointed too. We wanted for nothing. The only fact I hadn't thought to enquire about was the stairs to the flat - 3rd floor(no lift). However, the stairs were deep with hand rail so by taking it slowly we managed perfectly. We are planning our next trip back soon - The local taxi service was terrific too which thanks to Kitty's information served us all weekend. So very close to the castle you can see it out of the sitting room window fabulous! very close to Grass Market and on top of the farmers market Saturdays. Princess Street a walk away through the park (we took a taxi though). Lovely Italian restaurant two doors up the road, a lovely patisserie across the road and just beyond Sainsbury's. The boutique shops around Grass Market towards Royal Mile lovely with quirky café called Oink! serves Hog Roast rolls with Haggis and apple sauce (a must)!!!

“Excellent” This holiday let is excellent. It is the second time I have stayed there, and will not hesitate to stay again. The flat is convenient for the centre of Edinburgh, and also Leith which is an area we like. The landlord is extremely helpfull, and nothing is too much trouble for him. Coupled with this the flat is spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped.

“Location has perfect with great views over harbour to watch all the ferries and boats.” Lovely big flat with everything required for our stay, very comfortable, all the family enjoyed it as Oban is a favourite, the weather was also good. Did have a hiccup trying to find the flat and the key safe. The only down side in Oban is the parking.
