Owner's reply:
Hello Andy, thank you for your lovely review! I'm really glad you had a good time – I genuinely love having guests who love the chapel and area as much as I do, Jane and I would be privileged to have you stay again. For a cottage in the middle of the countryside, there is a surprising amount of stuff to see and do, I'm glad you made the most of the area – and of course the White Horse! (Tim and the staff are always very welcoming whenever my family goes there – which is every time we stay at the Chapel!) It's also nice to hear you made the most of the house, the snooker table is a favourite of mine – and the library is a work in progress, I don't suppose I shall stop collecting books to appeal to all tastes until there is no more room for bookshelves (and we're a long way from that!). Glad also that your dogs had a good time – we're committed dog-lovers too and it's a great spot with the big closed garden and Exmoor right on the doorstep. Incidentally, I don't know if you knew, but the spring in the garden is one of the holy wells of Somerset and probably predates the Chapel (which itself was built around 1200AD) – and perhaps even Christianity. Just thrilled to hear what a good time you had Andy. I hope you took away lots of lovely memories and that we might welcome you all back one day. Jason

Owner's reply:
Hello Lyn, Thank you very much, I'm so pleased you had a good stay! We do make every effort to make you feel at home – so it's great to hear that we're doing something right. The White Horse is a smashing little pub, and my family never tire of visiting Dunster; for a relatively small medieval village on Exmoor, there always seems to be something new to see there. It was an absolute pleasure to have you stay Lyn, we'd gladly welcome you back! Jason
