From the owner

A top floor (just two floors!) two bedroomed flat in a very recent and stylish conversion, just 4 mins from the middle of Truro yet in a tucked away and in a traffic free location. The building has recently been converted to an extremely high standard and has amazing panoramic views across the city and in particular of the beautiful Cathedral. We love this location as it's an excellent base for exploring the city on foot and enjoying all the local shops, cafes and restaurants on our doorstep. Truro also has beautiful green areas to discover such as Victoria Gardens, Boscawen Park with play facilities, tennis courts and playing fields.

The flat itself has an open plan living room/kitchen which is over 23' in size but also 16' wide so there is plenty of room. We enjoy our comfort so there are two large leather sofas and plenty of cushions. There are patio doors which open onto a Juliet balcony which also enjoys the unobstructed view. There is a flat screen TV and super fast Wi-Fi for you to enjoy.

There are two decent size bedrooms with super-king beds, both equipped with bedside tables, chest of drawers and wardrobes. One of bedrooms can either be set up as a twin or super-king depending on your preference. The bathroom is modern and contemporary with a shower and bath and a snazzy backlit mirror. The flat also comes with its own allocated parking space, gas central heating, carpets to bedrooms and quality flooring to the living area. The flat is fully protected with a fire and Co2 as well as a video entry phone.

Whilst this really is 'city living' with fantastic facilities such as the Hall for Cornwall, the river and even M & S within a few minutes walk, what we really love here is that the flats are tucked away, with no immediate passing traffic to either the front or the rear of the building. You can walk out of the car park which leads directly onto famous Lemon Street with all the beautiful Georgian houses and the fabulous Lemon Street enclosed market. We can also highly recommend the stylish Thomas Daniel pub just 4 minutes walk from the flat where you can find delicious food and excellent cocktails.

Truro is a great base for exploring the many beaches in the area, the nearby Loe Beach is only 5 miles away and offers breathtaking views across the bay towards Mylor and Falmouth, as well as having its own WaterSports Centre where you can enjoy kayaking, sailing and any water based activity you like!

The flat is available during school holidays (we live there during term time) and all linen, towels and cleaning are included in the price.

If Vanessa (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
