Then in August there is the Oyster Festival at Polzeath, Jazz festival at Pencarrow House and if you like the age of steam there are lots of steam rallies in Padstow, St.Merryn, St. Columb and Looe to name but a few.
There is always lots to do both on bright sunny days and dull days. St. Issey is also well known for being on the 2012 series of Caroline Quentin in Cornwall.
The Padstow area has lots to offer the tourists. Lots of walks, beautiful golden beaches. Lovely restaurants. Fish and chips by Rick Stein. Carnivals in the summer.
