Trevillett Mill offers self catering holiday accommodation exclusively set in the beautiful Rocky Valley and a short walk to the sea. Nestling between Tintagel and Boscastle on the north Cornwall coast, Port Isaac, Padstow and many other renown holiday destinations are just a short drive away.

Full of character, the Mill is a unique and fantastic place to be away from it all, but at the same time be at the heart of a land full of mystery, myth and legend, and of course, dramatic Cornish coastline.

This 15th-century Grade II listed former watermill is set within its own 6 acres of land, exclsuively in Rocky Valley. The Mill house itself was built in 1472 and was made famous by Thomas Creswick, whose painting `The Valley Mill' hung in the Royal Academy exhibition of 1851. It is less than five minutes' walk to the sea and a further 10 minutes walk to a delightful beach.

The mill comfortably sleeps from 6 to 12 in 6 separate bedrooms and guests staying at The Mill can still see much of the original workings that have been preserved much as they were hundreds of years ago with slate floors, oak beams and a complete waterwheel. The charming gardens of The Mill are a delight, the extensive decked area joining the Mill provides a perfect place to sit, relax and barbecue, whilst enjoying the sights and sounds of the millstream running by.

The West Country region

North Cornwall is a land full of myth, legend and magic, boasting a rich history and Arthurian tradition that includes the famous Tintagel Castle.

Renown for its dramatic coastline, clean beaches and quintessentially Cornish fishing villages such as Padstow (the home of Rick Stein), Port Isaac (featured in the TV series Doc Martin) and Boscastle. Rising up from the coast is nearby Bodmin Moor with its unique character that lends another dimension to the area.

Whether coast or moor, it is a rugged area, fabulous for explorers of all ages and suits both those who want a physically active holiday as well as those who want to exercise their artistic side with beautiful views in abundance.

For those who want to go further afield, there is easy access via a good road network to other Cornish attractions, such as The Eden Project, which is about an hours drive away.

Rocky valley is a place of outstanding natural beauty nestling between Tintagel and Boscastle on the north Cornwall coast. A public footpath follows the Trevillett River as it meanders down the valley to the sea, passing through beautiful and dramatic scenery on its way.

Starting as mature woodland, the landscape changes quickly to moorland before it gives way to the angular and spectacular slate that gives the valley its name.
