The West Country region
Cornwall offers everything for a great holiday. Visit beautiful beaches, enjoy surfing, fantastic coastal walking, old fishing villages such as Polperro, Looe, Fowey or Padstoiw.
There is the amazing Eden Project and nearby the famous Lost Gardens of Heligan. Cornwall has castles such as St Mawes, Launceston, Restormel, or National Trust properties such as Lanhydrock, Anthony House or Cotehele.
As with any area close to the sea, Cornwalls climate is changeable, but generally warm with good sunshine in the summer months.
The Tamar Valley offers beautiful secluded scenery. Cotehele House is a well known manor with its restored mill and quays, and boat / canoe trips are well worth making.
Pillaton was listed in the Doomsday Book and is well known for its 12th century church and adjacent Weary Friar Inn - only a 10 minute walk from Rowse.
