Self catering cottage with home from home facilities.Open plan living area of sittingroom dining area and fully fitted kitchen.Single bedroom on ground floor,stairs to double and twin bedrooms, family bathroom with shower over bath. A 5 acre area of grassland running down to a stream, kept for wildlife, with pathways cut to lawn for easy walking. An area for ball games ect, garden furniture. BBQ available on request. parking. We have a washing room with washing machine and tumble dry, free to use.
Over looking a pretty garden area,. The delightful stable conversion is ideally situated to explore this lovely area of Cornwall. Looe and Polperro with there lovely sandy beaches. The International ST Mellion golf course is approx. 8 miles away there are several other golf courses close by. To the north coast you have the surfing capital of the UK at Newquay. The Eden project is approx. 24 mile distant.
there are many National Trust properties in the local area. There is the town of Liskeard just up the road 2 miles for all your shopping needs. With supermarkets lots of small town shops pubs and plenty of places to eat out if you want. There are plenty of take a ways in the area that do home delivery's so you don't even have to cook.
Let the children run free in the large grounds, and make as much noise as they want, while you sit back and relax.
We don't have pages and pages of rules just come and use you holiday home as your own, We live at the site and are always happy to help with anything you need

The 5 acres of grassland is great for children to run wild and have fun.The Beach at Looe is sandy and the crab fishing from the habour is fun for adults and children alike. The wilderness of Bodmin moor & Dartmoor await you.We are close to many National Trust properties The famous Eden Project is 24m distant. Plymouth with its Historic Hoe & Barbican is 18 m distant as is the Naval Dockyard. Watersports available locally and the world famous St Mellion golfcourse is 8m, and the Looe golf course 4m for those who play for pleasure.
There are some great restaurants locally. and farmers markets to get your fresh food. Local supermarket is 2m.

Dogs. Small to medium dogs welcome. Electricity used is charged by meter reading at national rate, of 12p per unit used. Drivers please use your Sat Navs, the best way to Venton House is from the Tamar bridge follow road A388 to Callington, then A390 to Liskeard as far as the village of St Ive as you pass the church on your right hand side switch Sat Nav off and just follow the A390, down the hill as you start to climb at the bottom 400 meters on you right is the drive way to Venton House. If you get lost just phones us on the number you have.

Cornwall has many interesting and varied areas. The many quant fishing villages all along the south coast to the wonderful sandy beaches on the north coast ideal for surfing. Newquay the capital of surfing. Ideal for walking on and around Bodmin and Dartmoor with breathtaking scenery around every corner. Cornwall has a mild climate and usually the best weather in the UK.
Liskeard is a small town with supermarkets on the outskirts.National Trust properties in abundance and the famous Eden Project to visit if the weather should be inclemant.
Plymouth with the hitoric Hoe and Naval dockyard and shopping center shopping center is approx 18 miles away
Lots of local produce available. Also lots of places to eat out try Jamie Olivers 15 and Rick Stiens fish and chips.

"Cosy home from home"
