"Idyllic location, quality accommodation with lovely finishing touches"

We stayed with our 2 year old in June and were pleasantly surprised at the high standard of the accommodation. From the drench shower, lovely country kitchen to the really comfy beds. The house was perfect for a young child with a really safe garden to play in, our daughter instantly settled in.

The location was fab if you want to get away from everything (although Matlock only 15 mins away). The barley mow pub in Bonsall was a must.

Couldn't recommend it enough and will definitely be coming back especially as the cost is so reasonable.

"Lovely cosy new year stay with beautiful view in peaceful surroundings"

Just spent a brilliant New Years Eve here with my partner and 2 friends. We enjoyed some good walks in the area and had fun meeting Norma and feeding the Spinney Farm Alpacas!
Although the cottage is set all on its own on a hillside with great views, the village of Bonsall is a short walk away (shortcut across the field if you have wellies) and we enjoyed having a few drinks with the local people in a friendly pub.

Booking and finding the cottage was really easy, and the price was good value for such a comfortable and luxurious stay. The Cottage was warm, the beds very cosy and all very modern and clean appliances.

The nearest shops are a short drive away so we stocked up well on food and enjoyed fresh eggs left for us by Norma when we arrived.

I'd definitely recommend Spinney Farm Cottage as a great base to explore the Peak District and enjoy some quality time with friends or family.
