"Fantastic, friendly cosy family cottage in lovely settling"
Lovely converted barn, fab for babies/toddlers-with full size cot and stair gate at top of stairs, and high chair. Our 18 month old loved the "babbits" (rabbits) in the courtyard outside, and also seeing a tractor go up the road.
Jayne was fab with communication before we came, and was lovely and very helpful when we got there-as were other family members. All friendly.
Fab spacious Twin room-with very comfortable beds. Lots of draw/wardrobe space in both rooms. Kitchen had everything we needed and lounge has massive big windows and comfortable sofas and lots of room for our little ones toys :)
Lovely area outside which would be nice for bbq in summer with tables and chairs. Parking was right outside the cottage.
Cottage had loads of info on things to do, walks and local area, take aways etc.
We spent a lot of the time in play centers :) the Play mill is under 5 mins away fab for under 6. There is a park within 5 mins walk (18 month old pace!) of the cottage We went to 5 other play centers within a 40 min drive. Went to Bakwell-had a lovely park and feed the ducks, Recommend the Bakewell tart coffee shop. Matlock Bath has a lovely park for children too. We cant wait to come back when little man is a little older and go to Gulliver's kingdom and the height of Abraham.
We would recommend this cottage to anyone, who wants a holiday in Derby shire-They also have a bigger one next door for bigger groups of people.

"Beautiful and homie apartment, very sweet and helpfull owners."
The best thing about the Apartment is the light upstair livingroom with tall Windows where on one side you can say hello to the cows in the morning and you can look Down in the yard or the village from the two other Windows. There is plenty of room, nice sofa area with tv and dvd and a kitchen with everything necesary.
Kids had lots of fun with the rabbits in the yard and enjoyed the playground nearby.
For a cheap Price we had eggs and milk put outside the door in the morning, great.
The owners where nice and helpfull and we have no complaints and would recomment the place.
In the area there's so much to do and see and a wonderfull nature. We stayed 4 weeks and still didn't see everything

"They go the extra mile"
Jayne and David made us very welcome and presented us with excellent accommodation. A welcome pack was provided with eggs, milk, fruit juice. Also walking maps and routes straight from the cottage. Six inches of snow fell on the Friday morning. David cleared the parking area and drive down to the road enabling us to get home Friday afternoon before a forecast even heavier snowfall on Saturday. Thanks to you both for going the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. Adjacent property can be rented if large group.
