The Barn Mill Haven Place
from £143 /night help
House | 3 bedrooms | sleeps 9
On a headland near the quaint fishing village of Little Haven, just one mile from the sea, lies The Barn; newly and meticulously converted into a stunning, character packed, three bed-roomed cottage. Within its thick, lime-washed stone walls its caring owners have created a light, airy haven of comfort and style with truly efficient eco-friendliness. Whether enjoying the under-floor heating provided by the ground-source heat pump and solar panels, savouring a glass of the filtered spring water that flows through the taps or admiring some of the hand-crafted and beautifully up-cycled furnishings that adorn this place, there's no denying the integrity of the environmental ethos that has shaped this old stone barn into a homely, healthy habitat for 21st century living. With dishwasher, plasma TV and even a MP3 player plug in point, to listen to your own music through the speakers in the living room ceiling; no comfort or convenience has been overlooked. Large French doors on either side of the living room offer countryside views and access to its large lawned area to the fore and to a sun-trap court-yard to the rear. With both of these areas invitingly furnished for al fresco dining, barbecuing beneath the vast star-lit sky is a must! While inside, the wood-burning stove, thick stone walls and a host of comfortable soft furnishings provide the perfect ingredients for cosy evenings in.

The Pembrokeshire region
Pembrokeshire has Britain's only coastal National Park, boasting the most spectacular coastline, with stunning scenery and diverse wildlife. It covers a third of Pembrokeshire including the Preseli Mountains and the upper reaches of the Daugleddau Estuary. Tenby, St Davids, Saundersfoot, Newport and Manorbier are all in the National Park. As are Skomer, Skokholm, Caldey and Ramsey Islands. Two inland areas are also in the National Park; The Preseli Mountains and the upper reaches of the Daugleddau Estuary. The Preseli Mountains are where the Stonehenge bluestones are supposed to have come from.
The Daugleddau Estuary is known, locally, as the secret waterway.

"Wow Cornwall without the people In fact better than Cornwall. Very clean many free or cheap car parks at little coves, massive beaches almost to ourselves 1st week in July.
Everyone happy and friendly travelled around the coast starting at Saundersfoot and enjoyed every minute of it.
Every beach we visited allowed dogs on it some small areas restricted but still miles and miles for dogs to roam.
Congratulations to Pembrokeshire's decision makers and you have got things so right. Your county is wonderful we will be back soon."
Whether you're looking for cosy holiday cottages to retreat to, a fully-furnished luxury yurt to go “glamping” in or simply want to bring your own tent, caravan or motorhome to our campsite, our beautiful Pembrokeshire eco site can offer it all.
Mill Haven Place is a family run site with an overall aim of wanting to provide a peaceful, friendly escape from busy lives with high quality facilities to suit your needs, whatever they are. We want to make your stay as comfy, relaxing and easy as possible so you can enjoy the spectacular surroundings that Pembrokeshire can offer.
We love where we live, just one mile from the Pembrokeshire Coastal path (you can see glimpses of the sea through the trees), with a tiny beach, rockpools galore and all the sea and sky you could wish for. Nearby are the lovely fishing villages of Little Haven, and Solva, the amazing stretches of beach that are Broad Haven, Marloes and Newgale and the marine reserve Skomer Island. With something for everyone - from walking, cycling, horseriding on the beach, surfing, coasteering, sauntering around the magnificent St David's cathedral, or eating at award-winning restaurants, Pembrokeshire has so much to offer.
