This charming cottage near Glossop sleeps four people in two bedrooms.The Cottage is a charming cottage on a hillside near Glossop. The cottage offers a double and a twin room, a bathroom, a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with woodburner. Outside is off road parking for two cars, a small front garden and a large rear garden with deck and country views. The Cottage is ideally placed for enjoying the amenities of Glossop, or the walking and sights of the Peak District National Park.

Amenities: LPG heating with woodburning stove. Range cooker with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Rear terrace with patio, furniture and lawn. front garden. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub less than 1 mile away. Please note: Head height may be restricted in some areas due to the age and period features of the property.

Region: The ultimate in "year-round" appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.

Town: In the extreme west of Derbyshire, surrounded by some of the most magnificent scenery in the Peak District is the bustling former Mill town of Glossop. Ideally placed for making the most of the nearby Peak District National Park, or the spa town of Buxton, this lovely settlement has plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants. The peaceful village of Hayfield is also close by and is popular amongst walkers attracted to the area by its close proximity to Kinder Scout. Edale is only a few miles away and is set at the beginning of the Pennine Way and offers pubs, cafes and restaurants, giving visitors plenty to see and do in this area.
