Dolwen: quiet, all ground floor, self-catering, detached cottage bungalow.

3 Bedrooms, 2 bathrooms accommodation, near the market town of Rhayader and the Elan Valley lakes in mid-Wales. Set in private garden, not part of an accommodation group.

Spacious kitchen with views over hills, 2 x fridges seperate dining table for 6. Large utility 2 x freezers, washing machine, dishwasher. The lounge with its widescreen TV, range of games, selection of books, piano, fireplace, leads onto the sun room. Bathrooms equipped with grab rails and ensuite with electronic shower.

The path leads straight into Dolwen utility entrance hall with no steps. Dolwen's garden is alive with birdlife visiting the pond. Grounds are sheltered, fenced and gated, with parking on property.

The setting will make you feel like you have not a care in the world in this peaceful mid-Wales location. Whether you’d like to explore the Elan Valley's lakes, dams and trails, enjoy the clean air, try local produce, or just relax by getting lost in a book in front of the fire, there is something for everyone.

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

    If Del (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
