There is an en-suite bathroom and a family bathroom. There is private terrace on each floor with a suntrap terrace on the roof with great sunsets and unrestricted views over the golf course. Just right for a gin and tonic or a beer at the end of the day.

The whole house is presented in an as new condition with excellent fittings throughout and in the kitchen and has just been freshly repainted outside.

There are many diverse activities for non-golfers and families with children. Budens

The Budens / Parque da Floresta area

Encompassing one of Europe's most picturesque golf courses, Parque da Floresta Golf and Leisure Resort has everything you could wish for in the way of holiday activities making it a great destination for both couples and families.

Golfers will enjoy the challenging 18-hole course which winds its way through the resort. The on-site Golf Academy boasts a state-of-the-art interactive video system

Other onsite activities include excllent tennis courts and a tennis academy, championship bowling green and a children's club.

Bordering the Costa Vincentina National Park, there is a world of unspoilt countryside and fabulous Atlantic surfing beaches to explore, with various surfing schools.

The closest beach is found 4km away at Salema, a picturesque fishing village with a wonderful beach and restaurants. One of the delights of spending time here is to watch the fisherman return from the Atlantic with their catch and then indulge in fresh fish within hours of being caught at the villages restaurants overlooking the beach.

To the east Burgau has absorbed the advance of tourism yet still retains a strong character which remains relatively un-spoilt due to its location in a small cove bound by steep cliffs. The locals still set out to sea in brightly painted boats in pursuit of squid, lobster and sardines as they did a hundred years ago. Nestled on the edge of a national park, the steep streets lead to a horseshoe shaped bay where there is a beach bar, several cafés, bars and restaurants.

Historic Lagos is just 15-20 minutes away by car, a charming old town with winding cobbled streets and a huge selection of restaurants and bars as well as a lively nightlife and modern marina.

Championship course Penina, Palmares with its amazing sea views over Meia Praia and Boavista Golf and Leisure Resort are all within 30mins drive.

Slide and Splash water park and Zoomarine are about 30-40mins drive away and the local Lagos Zoo is great for the little ones.

Horse riding, dolphin watching and grotto trips, jeep safaris and water-based sports can also be arranged.

"Excellent venue in high spec luxury town house, close to pools, beaches and golf"

If you want a place to relax and base yourself for the local fabulous beaches, golf course and restaurants on the Algarve, west of Lagos, then this is an ideal location. The property is very well furnished, appointed to a high specification and enables you to eat in if you wish, with all the necessary appliances. The beds are very comfortable with lovely fresh linen and duvets.The bathrooms are immaculate with good showers. The heated towel rails are useful. If you desire to sunbathe there is a fabulous sheltered roof terrace with sunbeds and other terraces at all levels.The outdoor furniture is also very comfortable. If you like fresh fish, then the locally caught red snapper, sea bass, bream, sardines and mackeral either at the restaurants or bought from the local shops for the BBQ are superb. The supermarket is within 3 minutes drive and has all the essentials as well as fantastic fresh fruit, vegetables and fish.
We took our teenage daughter and she found plenty to do both at Parque De Floresta and within easy driving distances. The two swimming pools within a minutes walk from the front door are enjoyable and sunloungers are provided.
Highly recommend this property and location.

"everything you could want on holiday"

This is a brilliant place to stay and we plan to return-hence the opportunity for this belated review. Everything the other reviews say is correct . The house and the estate were perfectly maintained and it seems clear this is still true. The location and facilities are magnificent . For example I used the tennis courts and was able to borrow the kit and get a hit with a tennis pro who was around .
Easy trips around are fun and with the distinct local culture there is lots to see and do in the area .
Altogether as good a place to relax away from the hordes as we can imagine. Much looking forward to our revisit

"Perfect family getaway!"

Spent a fantastic week with my wife and 2 small children at this property. Perfect in every way from the immaculate accommodation and pools, to the fantastic beaches and restaurants. The proximity of the apartment to the pool (5 steps from our door) meant the kids could have an early morning and late afternoon splash after returning from the beach. The owners provided lots of information which made exploring the area easy. There are many great restaurants to choose from - our favorites were Lourezo's and the restaurant over looking Dona Anna beach! The fish was grilled to perfection. We also thoroughly enjoyed relaxing at the apartment and using the balconies for sundowners and bbq's overlooking the golf course. Can't wait to go back!

"Best location in Western Algarve"

Parque de Floresta competes very favourably with Quinta Do Lago but without the hustle and bustle of Villamoura. The property is a townhouse in a "village" setting , set into a hillside overlooking San Antonio Golf course ( new name for PDF) the 5th,6th ,8th and 9th holes are all visible from veranda and sun deck. Great design with high quality furniture makes this an excellent apartment. The complex is newly painted and does not look the dated , faded apartments so common in Portugal. Four pools are within 100 metres and the nearest is just 20 metres from front door, why would you go any further. Early morning walks or jogging around the cart path of golf course was fantastic and for the more adventurous runner there are forest tracks up and around the wind farms which gives endless options. Start and finish by the front door. Great beaches, good restaurants and local supermarket made everything so easy.

"JUST PERFECT"

An extremely well equipped and very comfortable townhouse with several swimming pools close to the townhouse and the bonus of a rooftop sun terrace. There are also fantastic views over the golf course with the added benefit of preferential green fees (two of us paid 256 euros in total for a package of three rounds including buggy).
We loved the surrounding unspoit countryside with good beaches and restaurants less than 15 minutes away and are already planning to revisit next year .
A great location and a great hoiday.
