This beautifully appointed barn five star conversion is one of our most popular romantic retreats, it has everything a couple could need. You will fall in love with the open countryside and sea vista.

The Woolbarn is the perfect base for exploring the Cornish coast, towns, villages and attractions. In the mornings watch as the blanket of fog clears across the valley, in the evening, from the large patio doors, enjoy the truly spectacular sunsets that can be seen towards the Bude bays. To the front of the property there is a built in BBQ and seating, it makes a perfect sun trap in the summer.

Lounge with Spectacular Countryside and Sea Views

The West Country / Cornwall region

Cornwall is blessed with spectacular coastlines and countryside. All cottages are situated on our spacious complex, on the outskirts of the village of Marhamchurch. Padstow and Rock (50 mins drive approx) famous for their fishing and beauty are nearby as are historic Boscastle and Tintagel (25 mins drive approx) with quaint villages such as Trebarwith Strand. Travelling north you come to Welcombe Mouth, the picture postcard village of Clovelly (30 mins drive approx). Inland are the moors, Jamaica Inn, Bodmin (50 mins drive approx), and across to Plymouth , Falmouth, Fowey (75 mins drive approx) and so many other interesting and welcoming locations to suit all interests and tastes. The Bude area

The village of Marhamchurch is just a short stroll away. There are plenty of walks in the area that can be enjoyed such as the Hele Valley Trail which joins onto the idyllic canal path that leads to the seaside town of Bude (two miles away). If you are feeling a bit more adventurous, the walk extends to encompass the rugged coastline from the town, back towards the village, where The Wier (tea room and bistro) is situated. Perfect for couples looking to relax and admire the view overlooking the lake. The charming seaside town of Bude, two miles away, has a selection of good quality shops, fine restaurants and public houses. The Woolbarn is also ideally located if you intend to visit other popular Cornish towns, such as Rock, Padstow (35 miles), Port Isaac (25 miles) and Boscastle (15 miles).
