The Stable Barn offers an impressive open plan style bedroom on the first floor reached by the open stairwell, this is where you can enjoy sitting with a coffee in the dormitory window, while admiring the glorious views towards the bays of Bude.
The ground floor has a fully equipped kitchen/diner, bathroom and lounge area with French doors leading to the patio area where the beautiful countryside and sea vistas can be enjoyed.
Originally built in 1907 as stables for Wooldown House, the barn is set to the side in a courtyard of two other barns (Wagoners and Olde Coach House), the original stable brick flooring has been individually removed from the barn and used in the court yard area.
After a busy day waking the cliffs on the spectacular North Cornish coast or if you are just looking to relax and unwind, the Stable Barn provides the perfect romantic retreat.

Cornwall is blessed with spectacular coastlines and countryside. All cottages are situated on our spacious complex, on the outskirts of the village of Marhamchurch. Padstow and Rock (50 mins drive approx) famous for their fishing and beauty are nearby as are historic Boscastle and Tintagel (25 mins drive approx) with quaint villages such as Trebarwith Strand. Travelling north you come to Welcombe Mouth, the picture postcard village of Clovelly (30 mins drive approx). Inland are the moors, Jamaica Inn, Bodmin (50 mins drive approx), and across to Plymouth , Falmouth, Fowey (75 mins drive approx) and so many other interesting and welcoming locations to suit all interests and tastes.

The Bude / Marhamchurch area
The village of Marhamchurch is just a short stroll away and offers a pub/restaurant, church and The Hele Valley Trail walk can also be enjoyed, this joins onto the idyllic canal path that leads to the seaside town of Bude (two miles away). The Wier (tea room and bistro) is situated beside the canal and over looks a lake, perfect for couples looking to relax and admire the view. The charming seaside town of Bude, two miles away, has plenty of good quality restaurants and places to eat.
