Our two bedroom holiday cottage in Somerset has a large master bedroom, spacious twin bedroom and a good sized family bathroom. Gas central heating is fitted throughout. The two bed holiday cottage enjoys rear views over or private twelve-acre lake, lawns and gazebos, whilst views to the front take in grazing fields and a stream.

All of self-catering accommodation provides guests with a spacious fully fitted kitchen and dining area, downstairs cloakroom and a lounge with access to a rear al fresco dining patio.

The spacious kitchen is fitted with solid oak units with stainless steel sink, including an integrated washing machine and fridge with granite worktops (some cottages include dishwashers – please specify requirements when booking with us). There is also an electric hob, oven and microwave. Solid oak table and chairs and ceramic tiled floors complete the kitchen/ dining area.

All of our luxury self-catering accommodation in Somerset has a good size lounge with a contemporary electric fire set into a marble fire surround. Leather sofas with solid oak furniture side tables, flat screen TV with freeview separate DVD and CD player and Wi-Fi. Patio doors leading to small al fresco dining area and garden space.

The Master Bedroom has a juilet balcony overlooking the gardens. The second bedroom has twin beds and a built in wardrobe.

This two bedroom cottage has a fully fitted family bathroom with shower over bath, although we do also have two bedroom cottages with separate shower cubicles in the bathroom should you prefer.

All beds are made up prior to your arrival with high-grade linen sheets and soft pillows and duvets, warm faux fur or quilted throws are draped on each bed. Spare pillows are available upon request.

Externally, we offer extensive landscaped gardens, scented planting surrounding private eating areas, illuminated gazebo's from which to enjoy the late night views, leafy lakeside walks, a children's wooden play area, access to the canal tow path and stunning open grassland. A late night stroll is highly recommended, where the mingling smell of the honeysuckle and clematis and the moonlit lake transform the gardens into a magical wonderland.

"Country Cottage? Not really...."

This seems to be sold as a country cottage next to a lake. It really isn't. It's a new house in a terrrace on an estate surrounded by other houses. There is a lake nearby, but for coarse fis… More

We advertise our holiday homes as Lakeview Holiday Cottages, which is by name only, but we also feel they are modern cottages. Yes, we agree they are newly built houses, but all the surrounding houses are specifically for holiday accommodation. They are not residential. The lake is full of fresh water fish, and also home to a lot of geese and ducks. We invite our guests to do some coarse fishing with their friends and family but do not encourage competitive anglers. The lake is not for swimming or boating. Lakeview Holiday Cottages is very easy to find, we are literally just 2 minutes off Junction 24 of the M5 motorway. By following the postcode with GPS / Sat Nav's takes you past our entrance, which is on a sharp left hand bend, and you may not realise you have driven past us. We send out the directions along with the T's & C's together with the booking confirmation. Our written directions do suggest not using the GPS/Sat Nav as the directions are very easy to follow. We hope this helps clear any issues but if there are any concerns before booking our holiday accommodation, please feel free to contact us direct, when we will be very happy to discuss your concerns.
