Dairy Cottage - COASTAL WOOD
Cottage | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 4
Coastal Wood Holidays is hidden between Amroth Beach and Pendine Sands, overlooking the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
Dairy Cottage – Sleeps 4
A lovely stone cottage with wooden beams throughout providing fantastic spacious open plan holiday accommodation, with four poster bed.
Friday Changeover. Dairy Cottage is a two bedroom stone range conversion. Many years ago this was the dairy when Clyngwyn Farm was a working dairy farm.
The layout consists of open plan living with a large kitchen, lounge and dining area. The lounge has a large sofa and easy chair, large flat screen LCD TV, with freeview channels, DVD player, DAB radio and free wifi access. A selection of books are to hand to browse through while you relax.
In addition there is a very generous sized wet room, perfect to wash the sand from your feet, or take a long shower to revitalise yourself from the day spent walking the coast path.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a LPG cooker, microwave oven, fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. The kitchen window has views over the courtyard and beyond.
The master bedroom is individually designed. The room adorns a beautiful four poster bed, a king size orthopaedic mattress, topped with a sumptuous duck down topper and Egyptian cotton bed linen. Our guests do say that they have the best nights sleep at our cottages.
The second bedroom has bunk beds, which can accommodate both children and adults if required.
Dairy Cottage and The Buttery are interlinked to increase the living area for large families. Each has a lockable and sound insulated door. Dairy Cottage also has been designed to cater for wheelchair accessibility.
Outside Dairy Cottage there is a table, chairs and parasol for your sole use. Additional benches are placed around the grounds to sit and listen to the birdsong, watch the children play, or simply admire the views over the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

Amroth 1.5 miles; Saundersfoot 3 miles; Tenby 8 miles.
Amroth is a coastal village in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and is the southern start of the award winning Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. The village has a selection of pubs serving good food, cafes and shops close to the beach which offers safe swimming. The beautiful sandy beach stretches the whole length of the village and at extreme low tide you can still see the petrified forest, destroyed when sea levels rose 7000 years ago. From this wonderful seaside location you can discover all Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire have to offer and with such an array of attractions you will be spoilt for choice. Enjoy the scenic Welsh coast with wonderful unspoilt beaches, vibrant seaside resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot, boat trips to Caldey Island or the bird islands and wonderful water sports. Go inland to enjoy historic castles, museums, steam railways, zoos and theme parks. A perfect location for all year round holidays.
Amroth 1 mile. Situated down a short lane just off the coastal road between the wonderful sandy beaches of Pendine and Amroth, these four wonderful Amroth holiday cottages are located in peaceful surroundings where you can enjoy open countryside by day and the absolute delight of star gazing at night. These delightful Amroth cottages have been created from old farm buildings and each is furnished, decorated and equipped to a high standard with individual character and charm. Positioned around a large courtyard, each of these Amroth cottages has outdoor seating and shared use of a lawned area as well as opportunity for walks on the farmland. With a variety of accommodation across these four Amroth cottages, up to eighteen people can be accommodated, and with two properties having the added advantage of an optional interconnecting door, there is plenty of flexibility for all party sizes. From the time you step into your cottage, to enjoy the wonderful homemade cakes provided by the owners, to the time you have to leave, you will be thoroughly pleased with your holiday cottage choice. Why not take some time to enjoy countryside or coastal walks right from the doorstep of these Amroth cottages, or maybe take an invigorating pony ride on the beach? There is plenty to do in the local area as these cottages are located close to the lovely seaside village of Amroth with its pubs, restaurants, cafe, shop and of course it's wonderful sandy beach. The choice of attractions around these Amroth cottages offers something for all the family with an array of castles, wonderful theme parks, golf courses, seaside resorts and peaceful walks.

"A great place to stay"
Excellent accommodation, comfortable, clean and quiet with everything you could need for a pleasant holiday. The wet room was a particular bonus as both my wife and I are disabled.
Thank you for kind review of Dairy Cottage. It was really lovely having you and your wife stay here. We are pleased the cottage suited you both well. It was great to hear about your days out to nearby places like Saundersfoot and Amroth. We hope to see you again soon, maybe you can borrow our 'lap cat' for a week!

"A great, pet friendly place to stay."
We had a week here this September. What a great place! Our little dog Isaac loved it, running about in the field and a very relaxing place for us, although we did get about quite a bit. Lee and Abi … More
Thank you for your review of Dairy Cottage. We really enjoyed you staying here, and particularly liked the little chats about your travels. We are everso so pleased that you found yourself a beautiful static caravan in this lovely area. We hope to see you all again soon, and maybe bump into little Isaac on Pendine Beach or when we pass through the quaint village of Tavernspite.
