the Nook - A romantic little hideaway, with mezzanine bedroom, kingsize bed and private outdoor area.

Saturday Changeover..

A wonderfully romantic stone cottage, which was once the cart house and harness room for the working horses..

Nowadays The Nook utilises the original spaces with solid stone walls to provide a cosy snug and an open dining area. The Nook is sympathetically renovated which has a mezzanine style bedroom with a king size bed adorned with luxury Egyptian cotton bed linen..

When you walk through the front door, the snug is ahead with its unique and attractive stained glass arrow-slit style windows..

The kitchen and dining room are open plan, exposing the double height high beamed ceiling giving a spacious and relaxing area to socialise in, whether cooking with a glass of wine in hand or enjoying a quiet night in. The Nook has views over the courtyard to the front or over the fields to the rear.

The fully equipped kitchen has a LPG cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave oven..

The additional snug is a favourite for those who wish to 'cwtch' up and unwind..

The Nook has a flat screen LCD TV, with freeview channels, DVD player, DAB radio and free wifi access..

The bathroom has a bath with overhead shower attachment, basin and WC. Perfect to have a long soak after a long day exploring the area..

The main bedroom is set nestled under the original low beams. The headroom is restricted by the eaves which adds to it's romantic charm.Your bed and your sleep is priority at COASTAL WOOD HOLIDAYS, with a quality mattress and luxurious king size duck down mattress toppers to sink in to, all covered with Egyptian cotton bed linen. Once you are under the down duvets, you may find it hard to get back out..

Outside is a small seating area to the front and private seating area to the rear, ideal for al' fresco dining, having a glass of wine or simply listening to the birdsong.

The West Wales/Pembrokeshire region

Amroth 1.5 miles; Saundersfoot 3 miles; Tenby 8 miles.

Amroth is a coastal village in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and is the southern start of the award winning Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. The village has a selection of pubs serving good food, cafes and shops close to the beach which offers safe swimming. The beautiful sandy beach stretches the whole length of the village and at extreme low tide you can still see the petrified forest, destroyed when sea levels rose 7000 years ago. From this wonderful seaside location you can discover all Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire have to offer and with such an array of attractions you will be spoilt for choice. Enjoy the scenic Welsh coast with wonderful unspoilt beaches, vibrant seaside resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot, boat trips to Caldey Island or the bird islands and wonderful water sports. Go inland to enjoy historic castles, museums, steam railways, zoos and theme parks. A perfect location for all year round holidays.

"Quality self catering accommodation in a quiet location but close to great beaches and tourist attractions."

Accommodation situated in a tranquil position and furnished to a very high standard. Lee and Abi are on hand should you need any advice on the local area and can also loan maps and tourist information guides if needed. There is a small shop on site for essentials but it is recommended to shop when you are out and about. There are some great walks on your doorstop and being located on the border of Pembrokeshire there is no shortage of things to do.

Thank you for your review of The Nook.

It was a pleasure meeting you and your family. We particularly enjoyed the friendly chats after your days exploring or after returning from your long runs along the coast! It is always a privilege to have members of the Armed Forces stay with us, and we are proud to offer service discounts.
We hope you had a good holiday here.

Safe travels,

Lee and Abi

"Beautiful relaxing place to stay"

Our stay here was absolutely fantastic, a beautiful place to stay, The cottage was full of charm and character, very well equiped, the owners had thought of everything, the beds were comfy and everything spotless, beautifully kept. The "wood shed" is an small onsite shop which relies on an honesty box, this had all the grocery basics you could need, and treats too, chocolate, pizza and ice cream. Lee and Abbie the owners, are lovely people, nothing is too much trouble for their guests. The scenery is outstanding, the walks aroung the local woods and coastal paths give you some of the most breathtaking views. A visit to Amroth, which is 2 miles from the cottage is worthwhile, the local pub does lovely food. Look forward to visiting "The Nook" again some day, I cannot reccommend enough.

Thank you for your lovely review of The Nook. It was great having you stay here. The picture of the rainbows end in the play area is brilliant.
It means so much to us when we know you have had a good holiday in this part of the world.
We look forward to seeing you again.

Kindest regards,

Lee and Abi
