About the home

A lovely 2 bedroom villa which sleeps 4/6 people in a lovely peaceful condiminium which has just 6 other villas. Ideally situated for the old town of albufeira and a great holiday residence for couples or familys. The villa comprises of 3 floors both bedrooms are en suite one has a balcony the other a large roof terrace. The villa has a private garden and patio area. The swimming pool is shared with 6 other properties so never gets crowded.
The villa is accessed via electric remote controlled gates, so is very secure.
Albufeira old town is a15 minute walk or a 3 minute drive.
There are many attractions to visit ie Aqualand, Zoomarine etc, vist the famous sand sculptures at Guia a short drive from the villa.

Plenty to do close by many local attractions including water parks, golf, horseriding, beautiful beaches and shopping. 15 minute walk/or 5 minute taxi ride into the old town where there are plenty of great restaurants, bars and street entertainment.

The Albufeira / Quinta Dos Calicos area

There are many local attractions including zoo marine, algarve shopping centre, the new marina and the famous fishermans beach, there are water parks to have a great day out slide and splash, aqualand and aqua show

Most budget airlines fly into Faro airport which is approximately 30 mins drive from the property in Albuferia.
From the airport pick up the A22 towards Lisbon, come off at junction 9 and follow the signs for ferrerias them Albuferia and the road N395, Calicos (farm village) is on the left just after the campsite.

“Problem free villa” Simple, comfortable, very clean and well equipped villa situated in a safe residential area. Rooms are large, bright and airy which gives the villa a calm and happy ambience. Lots of areas to sit outside including very large, sunny and private roof terrace.10 out of 10 for anyone who wants a relaxing and problem free holiday. “Absolutely fab” Stayed in Sept 2011 fabulous villa thought of everything you would need for your stay, everything you would need even down to a floating bed for the pool, pool area wonderful we had it to ourselves all week. Thank you for a wonderful holiday and all your help with all the information provided to make our stay totally relaxing. Can't thank you enough! Would highly recommend the stay. “Nice and service minded house owner, lovely house!"” Mrs. Sheenan was very courteous and service minded. You can tell that they're used to rent out their house, everything was well prepared and we never had to call them to ask for anything. The house was clean and fresh. The beds were somewhat hard, but it is a matter of taste. The roof terrace was nice in the evenings. We had the pool to ourselves almost all the time. The pool overlooks the hills, beautiful. The only thing I lacked was a minor detail, dishwashing liquid and hand soap, which is usually found when we rent houses. It felt safe to be able to park your car right by the house, and there was also a car park outside the gates. The block was quiet and safe and it took about 20 minutes to walk to the beach and restaurants in the city center. I can certainly recommend this house! “Perfect backdrop to our holiday!” Fabulous Villa, fabulous owner with friendly communication. Villa is about a 20 minutes walk into the old town and around a 5 minute walk to the nearest supermarket. Excellent location to all the excellent restaurants and the bustle of the old town. Pool is lovely and very quiet - sits high up and has some lovely views. The veranda on the top floor is lovely in the late evening. Villa was clean and had everything you needed. We had a great time, out exploring every morning and back to the top deck in the afternoons. Sunny at all times, and getting warmer each day.

loved the villa and Portugal. Weather turned perfect and not too busy in Albufeira.

We had a fantastic time thank you very much. We enjoyed it more than the first time if thats possible, because we knew what to expect and our way around.

Just a short to confirm we had a absolutely lovely holiday in your place. Weather was a touch mixed but that suited me as I could just sit & chill.
Your place was ideal & never heard a peep from any one. Loved the roof terrace - again great for just chilling. For info, your cleaner turned up around 9ish yesterday & we advised him that we would be leaving at 9.30 - but hopefully he would not have too much to do anyway.Many, many thanks for all your help. You have been excellent to deal with.
