“Perfect central location” The appartment was just a 5 minute walk from central station, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night, we would have liked to stay longer. Many thanks to the owners for your help.

“Ms” Fantastic stay in this beautiful little cottage. Clean modern and friendly. Took my elderly patents in their 80's and access was great. Lots of home comforts and it is a ver good location for visiting all the little villages around. We got a lovely friendly welcome from Aida and her son. Will definately return.

“Peacfull,City escape” Booking, info , arrival & departure process was easy and organised . Amazing value with everything you need for a stay . Small shop and social club beautiful food. Amazing views . Perfect comfy beds and plenty hot water. Didn't need a fire but lit one anyway as it was so nice to look at. Car is absolute essential as quite a drive from anywhere ( 45 mins to Oban, but stunning scenery on route ) . Phone reception (o2 & Vodafone) was good but no internet unless in social club (evenings only).my only criticism is on cleanliness , could be better too many cob webs (no spiders tho) and Windows could benefit from a jet wash. All that said I have a relaxing Peacfull visit and will defo return next year ..

“Wonderful Little Bay” The Apartment is very beautiful, perfect for a family with children or two couple. The leaving room is big and nice with a magnific view on the bay. The main sleeping room in very romantic with a nice view on the bay. The kitchen is well equipped and big. In the house you can find everything you need. Jane is very kind, she provide everything for our baby and a welcome pack, gorgeous!!! We would have stayed more days but we needed to leave to continue our holiday trip.

“Ambrisbeg Cottage *****” A comfortable, cosy and relaxing retreat in the countryside. We stayed here 2 nights while completing the West Island Way. Our warm welcoming and helpful hosts offered us 3 bicycles, which we used to get to the starting points of our hikes - a great way to discover even more of this beautiful island. We absolutely recommend this place!

“Lovely quiet apartment in the heart of Edinburgh” This is a lovely apartment in a quiet cobbled street in the West End of Edinburgh, five minutes walk away from all the hustle and bustle of Princes Street, the Castle and beyond. We were up for the festival which was understandably quieter than usual, but still busy and great fun. The apartment was well equipped and communication with the owners was good. ( thanks for the welcome pack!) There is a pub directly below which does excellent food and we had virtually no noise from the pub at all other than when we were in it! The apartment is on the top floor up some concrete steps that are a bit worn in places, but once inside it is fine. There is a Sainsbury’s five minutes walk away and a great Italian restaurant again five minutes away on Shandwick Place next to the Fox and Faun. There is a small book in the property on walks in Edinburgh- we made good use of that and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting, especially the Water of Leith walk which takes you on a tranquil amble up to the Dean Cemetery which is next to the National Museum of Modern Art (free) with the collections of Miro, Picasso, Dali and so on. We will definitely book again ( if they will have us back!)

“Great location; attention to detail” My wife and I, and our four year old daughter, recently stayed at The Imperial. It is a great North Berwick location -- close to shops, beach, bars, sights, etc. The apartment is very clean and the owner has paid close attention to many details such as very nice soaps, towels, beds, etc. It also is extremely kid-friendly, with books and toys and games for use. Also, the bedrooms are not facing the street. So although it is centrally located, it doesn't sound like it -- even on Friday or Saturday night. Highly recommended.

“Would definately stay there again!” My husband and I loved the flat! His mum lives in Musselburgh and it was within walking distance to her home. The flat was modern and very clean, had everything we needed. The bathroom was my favorite- gorgeous tile and lighting with a huge tub. We had the most relaxing stay-- didnt wake up until 11 nearly every morning! My husbands only complaint that there was no tv in the bedroom- but it didn't bother me much considering we didnt fly to Scotland to watch tv!

“Stunning and Unique” We really can't praise this house enough - the design, quality, layout and fittings are all first class. The patios and garden areas are quite unique and beautiful - combine this with the surrounding panorama of hills, lochs and islands and it is pretty much Eden. The local area (between Oban to the north and Lochgilphead to the south) is full of interesting things to do and places to see. Other highlights were great local seafood and a walk along the Crinnan canal.

“Perfect place to enjoy the Edinburgh area” The Marine Lodge is better in person than the descriptions or photos can tell! It has charm and comfort all it's own. First of all Andrew is the most delightful and accommodating owner. He went beyond all our expectations with his help, advice and thoughtfulness. Second, the location in town and being in North Berwick couldn't be better. We were in a quiet coastal town - easy walking distance to several great restaurants, pubs and shops. We were a quick train ride (25 minutes) into Edinburgh, near many golf courses, on the beach and near castles, a bird sanctuary and more! Third the Marine Lodge is very comfortable with clean and cosy beds, updated bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen and wonderful sitting room with a fireplace. It felt like home to us - everything was well-kept and Andrew has thought of every little thing from cookies and wine to heated bath floors! We wanted to stay longer and plan on coming back soon!
