Neighbouring Watergate Bay & Lusty Glaze beach and close to Newquay beaches, Padstow & incredible National Trust properties. Book here and be within a 1 minute stroll to Porth Beach, awarded a prestigious Seaside Award for 2023, 2022, 2021, 2019, 2018, 2017 and 2016!

Sandpiper Cottage offers breathtaking views and immediate access to Porth Beach and the stunning headland and coastline beyond.

This modern cottage comfortably sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms and enjoys underfloor heating throughout. The property is set over 2 levels with the open plan living / dining / kitchen area on the top floor to take advantage of the sea, beach and headland views from the balcony. The lounge seats 6 on comfortable leather sofas centred around a wall mounted SMART TV & DVD player. Stylish oak dining table and surfboard shaped seating offer fabulous views over the ever changing tides. The well equipped kitchen is fitted with silestone work tops and BOSCH appliances including dishwasher, washer / dryer, fridge / freezer, cooker and electric hob. Also on this level is a twin bedroom 'Hydrangea' with a luxurious ensuite shower room.

The ground floor consists of a spacious entrance hall, modern family bathroom and 2 further bedrooms. The master bedroom 'Sunset' has a king size bed with orthopaedic mattress, fitted wardrobe, wall mounted TV and patio doors leading out onto a private patio area. This area is ideal for BBQs and al fresco dining with further views down the side of the property to the beach. The second bedroom 'Sail 'n' Surf' is a spacious twin with oak furnishings and a fitted wardrobe.

A real 'WOW' is a fantastic shared seating & picnic area, overlooking and only 10 paces from the beach, below this a secure storage area, ideal for surf boards, deck chairs and beach equipment. The 'SURF STORE' also has a cold shower facility for rinsing after sea and beach fun.

The cottage is part of a cluster of 9 Beachfront properties and to the front of the development is private parking with your own designated parking spot.

For those looking for a beach based holiday, following arrival, this property offers the chance to enjoy a 'car free' week with immediate beach access to the sheltered, sandy Porth Beach, protected by headlands on both sides. Walking on the headlands you will be treated to terrific coastal views as far as the eye can see. Porth Island to the East can be accessed by a narrow footbridge, at mid-tide it's great watching out for the blow hole, especially active on windy days. There are also some impressive prehistoric defensive earthworks and the remains of a settlement.

For those wishing to explore Cornwall this property is ideally located for day trips to both the North and South Cornish coast with spectacular beaches and quaint seaside villages. There are also fantastic National Trust properties, glorious gardens (Eden Project / Lost Gardens of Heligan) to discover.

For watersports enthusiasts this coast offers fabulous surfing (from beginner to expert), sea-kayaking and super swimming at a selection of stunning local beaches (Porth, Whipsiderry, Watergate Bay, Lusty Glaze, Mawgan Porth, Fistral & Tolcarne to name but a few).

On land there is a fabulous, car-free cycle route along the Camel Trail taking in the delights of Padstow, the Camel Estuary and the possibility to stop off at the Camel Vineyard to sample the delights of 'Cornwall', award winning Cornish style champagne (as served to World Leaders at the G7 2021). Newquay Golf Club is 10-15 minutes away by car and offers magnificent views of the Atlantic ocean whilst you enjoy a round of golf one of Cornwall's finest Links Golf Courses.

Culinary delights can be experienced across the region! Locally in Newquay be sure to sample the fantastic fish restaurants including Paul Harwood's 'Fish House' at Fistral beach or Aaron Janes's 'Harbour Fish & Grill' overlooking Newquay Harbour. Be sure to book, you won't be disappointed. Or wander over to admire the sands and surf at Watergate Bay whilst treating yourself to the great food on offer in The Living Space or Beach Hut. Gastronomic grazing is recommended at Rick Stein's Padstow restaurants and The Porthminster Beach Restaurant in St. Ives is worthy of a visit.
