“Majestic” What a fantastic retreat. Words cannot describe the wonderful views and beautiful grounds and buildings of Villa Capanne. We were a group of three couples. Our daily routine was breakfast on the patio overlooking the breathtaking valley, golf course, and castle, followed by a tour of one of the scenic and historic villages in the area (Assisi, Cortona, Umbertide) with lunch at one of the many restaurants in the area, and ending back at the Villa for the evening. We enjoyed our accommodations so well that we took light dinners at the Villa most evenings, lounging on the patio and walking the grounds. The property manager, Chrissie, was most helpful. Along with the activities book she prepared in the Villa, she also recommended nearby winery tours and was available to answer any other questions we had. The main house was spotless and well appointed. We used the great room to watch the World Cup. The house is so grand that the thick walls and remote bedroom suites offer couples privacy without hearing the activities from the common areas. We highly recommend Villa Capanne as a great get-away vacation.

“Relaxation and quietness in La Torriola” We stayed in La Torriola for 2 weeks in june, together with our 2 year old daughter. We had a great holiday there : the location is unique and offers great views on Todi and surroundings, the appartments are well equiped, there is a nice pool. The owner Maurizio can provide with all the information about things to see and do, and he can tell you where to find the nice restaurants nearby. He speaks English perfectly. We enjoyed it a lot and the domain is well kept and completely fenced, so ideal for people travelling with children.

“A superbly equipped house in idyllic surroundings.” Kate and her family were returning to Ireland as we arrived, so we had a personal handover and briefing on this old, but modern, Mill House, tucked away in a valley of rolling hills, fields and woods. As one of Kate's first "non-family/friends" to rent the property, there were small anomalies in some aspects of the house and contents that amused rather than annoyed, but doubtless the learning curve of making your dream home, as opposed to a holiday let, available to strangers is a steep one. The pool does not have a shallow end, and the house is probably better suited to families with teenage children and good swimmers of all ages.
