A fabulously relaxing holiday home, Inglewood Cottage provides for a family friendly holiday in a stunning location of the south coast. The cottage is located within New Milton, a bustling small town on the edge of the beautiful New Forest, within easy reach of the stunning local beaches including Barton on Sea which overlooks the Needles, gorgeous forest walks and many other family attractions. The towns of Lymington, Christchurch and Bournemouth are all within easy driving reach.

This 3 bedroom cottage, sleeps 6, is located on a quiet road and offers plenty of space for families, small groups of friends or couples wanting a holiday which provides a bit of an escape but at the same time being close to all amenities.

Up to 2 small/3 large dogs accepted free of charge.

The ground floor master bedroom and ensuite bathroom are great for those not wanting the use of stairs and also suits extended families with grandparents space downstairs.

There is a kingsize bedroom and twin bedroom with bathroom on the first floor.

Comfy sofas in the lounge, together with Virgin Box, Wifi speaker, Xbox, Dvd player.

Kitchen/dining area/utility room are interlinked. Kitchen has a rangemaster gas hob/electric oven. Dishwasher, microwave, Tassimo Coffee Machine, fridge/freezer, slow cooker, vegetable steamer.

A luxury welcome pack with new forest produce including chocolates, beer and wine is included for your arrival. Items are selected dependant upon length of stay.

We provide all the necessary complementary items to ensure your stay is comfortable and are available to assist easily with any queries you may have as we live in a separate property next door.

The property is child and baby friendly with high chair, stairgates, bedguard, bottle warmer & sterliser, plastic crockery and utensils. There is a great selection of games and toys for the younger guests to while away a few hours.

All rooms have underfloor heating.

The garden is fully enclosed with 6 foot fences. Two seating areas for outdoor dining. Garden games & paddling pool. Beach towels, buckets and spades are provided.

The town centre provides all required shops for everyday items including a post office, pharmacies, local butcher, baker, small supermarkets, and a selection of takeaways and cafes. A large Tesco is also located within quarter of a mile and is within strolling distance for those forgotten holiday essentials.

Short breaks are available off season from October to May.

People Friendly Floorplan

The property offers plenty of space for a week, short break or longer holidays for all; extended families – mums and dads, children of all ages, grandparents; or couples and small groups.

The internal layout has a ground floor bedroom with ensuite bathroom, and two generously sized upstairs bedrooms with bathroom. The design of the roomy and airy comfortable lounge and kitchen with dining area give excellent space for relaxing and entertaining.

The cottage is suitable for people with restricted mobility offering the ground floor bedroom with ensuite. 2 steps into the property. 1 step into the shower.

For our families, our child and baby friendly equipment will make your stay so much easier.

Inside the cottage we have included children’s cutlery, plates & bowls, cot, highchair, stairgates, bed guard, bottle warmer, steriliser, DVDs & Netflix, age related games and toys, colouring pencils & books. Outside, for use in the garden and at the beach, we have included buckets & spades, crabbing & fishing nets, garden/beach games - plastic skittles, golf set, badminton and a larger than average paddling pool.

For the adults, we have included a selection of board games, Netflix availability, an Alexa and a Bluetooth speaker and Tassimo Coffee Machine.

Why can't I call Liz (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Liz (the owner) a message.

If Liz (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
