"The warmest of welcomes to the best holiday home ever!"
I stayed here with two octogenarians and my middle - aged niece and we were all extremely comfortable here. The New Forest just gave and gave, but none of it would have been half as wonderful without a really special house to go back to at the end of the day. On arrival we were greeted with a box of goodies - a bottle of wine, a madiera cake, a pack of maccarons, a box of chocolates, two bottles of spring water and three bottles of beer. Everything was locally produced and delicious - and especially welcome after a long drive from Shropshire. Liz, our host, also welcomed us personally when we had had time to settle in. And at the end of our stay she visited to check all was well and to present us with two complimentary mugs. There were several folders with all sorts of information, a tassimo coffee maker and so many good features, I could go on for ever! All I can say is, if you are visiting the New Forest area, this is THE place to stay!

"Perfect autumn birthday weekend in a beautiful house"
Looked for somewhere in the New Forest to book for a surprise 60th birthday for my dad - found this place and it was perfect from the word go. Excellent friendly communication with Liz the owner via email and phone, and a real effort was made to help the weekend be as special as possible. House was immaculate, with every possible mod-con, including underfloor heating, and we were made very welcome with biscuits, juice, beer and homemade jam. So convenient - easy to find, plenty of parking, close to a big supermarket; but also very close proximity to the Forest and coast for a feeling of 'getting away'. We had a birthday lunch on the Saturday and other family members joined us, allowing us to make full use of the great kitchen equipment, big fridge, and large range-style cooker/oven. All very impressed, and my dad is still talking about it! Several of our extended family who visited during our stay have asked for details so they can book next summer too. Thanks again.
Thank you for a great review on the cottage. I am so pleased you had a lovely weekend and hope that you can book again.

"Beautiful cottage in a good location"
We spent two weeks in this beautiful holiday cottage, which is nicely situated to discover the New Forest and other nice places on the southern coast. The cottage is well equiped and beautifully decorated - it is really "home from home". Our children loved playing in the nice garden. Thanks to Liz for her hospitality and the perfect welcome hamper!

"perfect home from home"
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the house was very spacious, well presented and ideal for our family and dog. The hamper waiting for us on our arrival was a lovely addition, we enjoyed it so much we visited the local farm shop where the produce was from! It's ideally situated in a quiet road, within walking distance of a large tesco with everything you need. The garden is brilliant if you have a dog and was great to have the use of a BBQ with everything we needed to get it started. We would definitely recommend this house and would love to stay here again in the future.

"Great Accommodation in the New Forest"
We stayed in Inglewood Cottage for a weekend break at the end of November 2013. We found the cottage to be extremely comfortable and equipped with all the little things that make a house a home. We spent Saturday walking round the coastal path and on Sunday we paid a visit to Peppa Pig World - much to the delight of our three year old granddaughter! We would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in the New Forest.

"Great house for New Year break!"
We booked this property for a New Year break with friends and our two small children (18m & 2 years) and it proved to be a great house and a comfortable base for us. The house was a good layout and spacious for all of us and immaculately clean. You can walk to the village centre for any amenities but we mostly drove to other places and pubs when we ventured out. New Milton is ok but there isn't much there and there are much prettier villages to explore which you would need to drive to. Liz provides a lovely basket of goodies - the cookies are delicious! The kitchen is great if you are cooking during your break which we did a fair amount. The house also has good board games and dvds for quieter days when the weather isn't so good, which we experienced a lot over this Christmas..! All in all we had a lovely time and couldn't fault the property.
