Location description from owner

The Wales region

The Brecon Beacons is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Western Edge is less explored providing unspoilt tranquility. The Black Mountain, Picws Du or Fan Brycheiniog offer beautiful views of bleak landscapes and hidden lakes such as Llyn y Fan Fach.

Carmarthenshire is Wales' biggest county offering everything from mountains to wooded valleys, rivers to beaches. The River Towy is famous for Sea Trout (locally known as Sewin) and Atlantic Salmon. It runs through the county and is only 2 miles from the cottage.

Llandeilo

The area also offers many attractions for all ages including Carreg Cennen Castle, Dinefwr Park & Newton House, Aberglasney Gardens, Gwili Steam Railway, The Red Kite Feeding Centre, Botanical Gardens of Wales, Dolaucothi Goldmines and special events throughout the year e.g. Llandeilo Fawr Festival of Music (11-19 July) and The Royal Welsh Show (20-23 July). Stunning beaches with miles of sand are only a short drive away at Llansteffan, Pendine, Tenby and The Gower.

Diolch yn fawr! Thank you for such a lovely stay! Very welcoming, the cottage was lovely and cosy, clean and fully kitted out with essentials! We would love to come back again!

Owner's reply: We are glad we could offer you both a much needed escape and pre Christmas treat. The hot tub is the perfect place to relax after a busy few months.
