Located on a top floor (2nd floor) served by stairs & 2 lifts, this PENTHOUSE is situated just a few meters from the Ria Formosa, where an exclusive access through the garden level takes you to the main square of Fuzeta village (150 meters away) with several coffee shops, bars and restaurants. Beside there are other shops, a post office, banks and a market to buy fresh products.

This PENTHOUSE apartment, sleeps maximum of 4 adults 6 plus 2 children, has 2 bedrooms with 2 Single beds and 1 Double bed, 2 bathrooms of which 1 en suite and 1 shower room. Large lounge area with dining area, with 3 large sofas (seating for 8). One on the sofas transforms into a sofabed. Kitchen equipped with Kettle, Toaster, Dishwasher, Cooker, Microwave, Espresso Coffee Machine, Fridge, Freezer, Washing machine. There is also a Solarium/Roof terrace with 2 sunbeds.

Other information: TV with satellite free view channels and a DVD player. Iron and Hair dryer. Hot & Cold Air conditioning. Cot and high chair are available upon request (extra charge)

Resort with swimming pool, garden area and private garage where this apartment has 3 private parking spaces. For your delights an extra 2 sun loungers are available for you at swimming pool area.

An exclusive access takes you to Fuzeta central square were you can find several coffee shops, bars and restaurants (walking 150 mts), supermarket. Beside there are several shops, post office, banks and market to buy fresh products.

- The property is secured with a remote telephone entry control system operated from inside the apartment.

- The apartment can be used by people with "mild" restricted mobility that are able to climb 4 steps at the building main entrance door, inside de building there is two lifts to access the property, garden, swimming pool and garage.

- Staircase to the roof terrace is not suitable for those with mobility difficulties. Young children will need to be supervised on the balcony. No smoking inside the apartment.

This apartment is also a perfect accommodation for golfers wishing to play in the excellent golf courses situated in the Algarve. There are 7 golf courses within a 20 kms.

Along the Algarve, you will find some of the best golf courses in Europe, you can also practise a wide variety of sports such as: sailing, windsurf, surf, water-ski, paragliding, diving, tennis, football, cycling, athletics, horse riding or a simple walk on the pedestrian trails or bike lanes, that are cross almost all of the Algarve.

“Amazing views and plenty of space.”

We have stayed in Formosa Village Apartments a number of times in the last few years. All of these apartments are well appointed with plenty of space but this time we had one of the penthouse apartments and the views were stunning. I feel the lay out of the penthouse meant there was a lot of wasted space and the kitchen is less than half the size of those in the other apartments. However with so many great restaurants within 10 minutes walk away who would want to cook!! I made breakfast and lunch most days and once you got used to the layout it was fine and there was everything I needed. Wi-fi was good but I can’t comment on the TV as we rarely watch at home so it was never on. However it was the situation with views directly onto the Ria Formosa with the beach only about 1/4 mile away and we could watch the kite and wind surfers as well as the local bird life from our terrace with 360 degree views. Sunbathing on the terrace and roof terrace was idyllic as we could get what breeze there was and we were close at hand for our own refreshments. We only had one complaint and that was the poor sun beds. There were only 3 of them and as we like to be up on the roof terrace that only left one on the terrace on the apartment level. We were assured that new sun beds were to be purchased and I’m sure that will be gratefully enjoyed by future clients, and ourselves in the future I hope. Thank you Carlos for your help.

Booked the apartment for 10 nights at the end of September. The apartment was spacious with lots of outdoor space. Fantastic views over the nature reserve. The owner Carlos met us at the apartment and showed us everything. Also told us a little about Fuseta. Enjoyed every minute and would certainly book again.

“Relaxing week in the sun.”

We wanted a quiet week in the sun to relax and unwind. The beach was excellent and only a short walk from the apartment. We stayed on the main beach but for one euro seventy you can take a short boat ride to the ocean beach. Went across to have a look but very busy and you have to queue up for the boat at end of day.Fuseta is a quiet town but we stayed during the festival week so there was a lot going on and music every night which you could hear from the apartment. Limited range of restaurants so if you are looking for something special you will need to go further a field. The apartment is in an excellent location with the best views out to the beach. We were slightly concerned about some of the previous reviews and can see what they meant although it didn't spool our week a bit more effort to clean and replace some items would make this apartment really special. The owner Carlos who we meet on arrival was a nice guy. I would still recommend the apartment and Fuseta if like us you want a relaxed week of sun and the beach.

As it is now six weeks and quite a few e-mails to your company, I think it is now time to highlight the issues regarding this apartment. First of all, the pictures you are advertising do to not represent what the customer will get, for example:- Patio furniture totally different from the advert, old, dirty and ready for the skip. Lounge furniture again not as advertised, covered with blankets, different suites therefore..... no indeed to guess what's underneath. The unit under the kitchen sink, probably has not seen a clean for a few months along with patio glass, doors, windows and patio tiles etc. In my opinion, the way this property is advertised is totally misleading to the general public.

“Great apartment in an amazing location”

We were very pleased with this apartment. What attracted us to it was the huge terrace where we could take in the fantastic views over the Ria Formosa and once we arrived we were not disappointed. It is a huge apartment, has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large lounge/diner and that enormous terrace for relaxing with a drink and also sun beds provided. There was also another terrace on the roof but as there were only two of us we didn't need to use this. My only moan about the apartment would be that the galley kitchen is far too small in relation to the size of all the other rooms but as we didn't cook all week we managed. The washing machine on the outside terrace was a bonus too. The location of the apartment is spot on. Close to Fuseta town, about 10 minutes walk to the centre bearing left and to the harbour/sea front to the right with lots of boat trips to the nearby island and beaches. There are some great little restaurants in Fuseta, lots of cafes, bakeries, a bank along the front opposite the camp site and a large supermarket heading out of Fuseta on the left side. For a nearer smaller supermarket there is one just out of the apartment main entrance about a 5 minute walk in a northeasterly direction just passed the Fuseta A railway station. The railway station was a revelation to us and so handy. The station is just about 500 yards straight ahead out the front door and although sometimes unmanned you can get regular trains to Olhao to the left and Tavira to the right for a couple of euros each. If no-one there just pay on the train - journey time 15-20 mins, both places worth a visit. Fuseta is not as touristy as other places along the algarve but this is why we chose it, it was lovely and peaceful with no crowded beaches - we will definitely be back.
