In a prominent position, on the Blue Flag award winning sandy beach at Camber Sands, is this charming cottage. It is south facing and enjoys breathtaking sea views from its open terrace and sun rooms and shares a cordoned off private beach, accessed via 10 steps from the terrace.. Sleeping up to 6 guests, the cottage is bright, airy and has been recently refurbished throughout in relaxing tones. It is well-equipped, creating a comfortable and stunning retreat.

The accommodation comprises lounge (with cast iron electric stove, flat screen TV and ample seating for a large family), dining room, (with an expanding dining table to seat 8), kitchen (fully fitted with washing machine and dishwasher), sun room incorporating a cordoned area with 2ft 6in bed, reading area and additional double sofa bed), bathroom (with bath and over bath shower) The stairs are open tread and lead up to 2 bedrooms; one double (with king size bed and pocket sprung mattress and fitted storage units) leading to a conservatory overlooking the beach with seating all around. The second bedroom had a triple bunk (single on top and double below (both have good quality mattresses).

This is the perfect beach holiday for young and old alike with 7 miles of golden sand and the dunes to walk, play on or just spectate. It is an ideal spot for kite flying, beach games, water sports, fishing and nature lovers. There is a golf course and sailing lake nearby. The cottage is located a few paces from the car park and has a beach cafe, ice cream parlour, 3 good restaurants that welcome children and a family pub all within a 3 minute walk. The medieval town of Rye is just 3 miles away.

Free wifi, a games console, range of DVD’s, books, games and beach toys are at the property for use by guests. A travel cot, stair gate and highchair are available upon request.

This is a non smoking, family cottage, which is not suitable for large groups. One small, well behaved pet is permitted to stay for an additional fee of £25, payable prior to arrival.

Why can't I call the property manager before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact the property manager to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
