Waves is a two bedroomed Fisherman's style cottage just five minutes walk from the beautiful Camber Sands beach and a few miles to the medieval town of Rye.

The cottage is on a modern award winning development. It is ideally situated for exploring 1066 country. The house is furnished and equipped to a high standard.

Picturesque Rye, with its cobbled streets, antique shops, independent retailers, pubs, tea rooms and restaurants, is five minutes drive across the marsh.

Waves is very well equipped with high quality furnishings and equipment. The open plan kitchen and living room has seating for 4 people. There is a 32'' inch flat screen TV with Freeview, blu ray DVD player, iPod docking station, Nintendo wii games console and a selection of DVDs, games and books for your indoor entertainment. We also offer free wi-fi access.

The kitchen is well equipped with almost everything you could possibly need including oven, hob, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, fridge freezer.

A separate utility area contains a washer/drier.

There is a downstairs guest cloakroom and upstairs, the family bathroom has a shower over the bath, WC, towel rail and storage.

The master bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, full length mirror, bedside cabinets with lamps, hairdryer and a 22'' TV/DVD combo with Freeview.

The second bedroom has a tallboy, bedside tables with lamps, and can be made up as either two twin beds or a king sized bed.

Both bedrooms are equipped with hotel quality towels and bedding.

The house has a decked area with wooden tables and chairs to relax and barbecue following your day on the beach, walking, cycling, fishing, sightseeing, playing golf, bird-watching, kite-surfing, shopping or one of the very many other available activities locally!

In addition, there is a communal garden to the front of the house.

A fully equipped picnic rucksack is available for your use, as well as picnic blanket, cool bag, freezer blocks, beach bag and a vacuum flask for hot drinks.

For our smallest guests we have a travel cot (please bring your own cot bedding), high chair, stair gate, baby monitor.

To the rear of the property there is a covered car port. Here you will find beach toys, beach tent, wind break, beach chairs and a Weber barbecue for your use.

We are dog friendly and family friendly and also ideal for couples who want a well equipped seaside holiday cottage in Camber Sands that is close to the beach. Please let us know if you are bringing a dog.

Local pub/restaurants and a convenience store are within a short walking distance form the cottage and many more are in the picturesque town of Rye just 3 miles away.

Waves is well sited for golfers; Rye and Lydd courses are nearby. Birdwatchers are well catered for with Rye Harbour Nature Reserve next to Camber Sands beach and Dungeness Nature Reserve, 8 miles to the east. Walkers, cyclists, and water sports enthusiasts will find plenty to do too!

The miles of sandy beach makes it a favourite with everyone, and we are located in 1066 country with the surrounding areas steeped in history.

At less than 2 hours drive from London and with good rail links, Waves, is ideal for both short breaks and weekends away or longer stays, to relax and unwind away from the stresses and strains of everyday life. It is ideal for couples or young families and also dog owners.

Camber Sands and Rye are popular holiday destinations all year round. The magnificent sand dunes are the only dune formation in East Sussex and the beach is several miles long is half a mile in depth at low tide.

The picturesque, medieval town of Rye is just 3 miles away, making Waves the ideal base to experience seaside, countryside and history as well as some great places to eat locally and lots to see and do for all the family.

On the borders with Kent , the house is ideally located for touring Sussex, Kent, 1066 country and further afield, including day trips to London. The cottage and the surrounding area offer something for everyone at whatever time of year. Ideal for that Autumn and Winter break with its fine close proximity to a variety of popular tourist attractions and towns, it's just the place to relax and unwind whether for the weekend or a longer stay.

We ask that dogs are not allowed on the furniture or upstairs in the property.

All linen, pre and post cleaning, utilities, w-ifi included.

The keys to the property are accessed via a key-safe so you can arrive and depart at times that suit you (within your agreed arrival and departure times). I live about fifteen twenty minutes drive away so can come over if there are any major problems and am always available by phone for issues or just local advice if required.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Nic (the owner) a message.

If Nic (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
