Rufty Tufty is a pretty, modern, two bedroom, white weatherboarded self catering holiday cottage on the Whitesand development in Camber Sands.

Furnished in a cosy, country style, the cottage has been equipped to enable guests to enjoy a relaxing break beside the sea.

Situated overlooking SSSI marshland to the front, dotted with Romney Marsh sheep and just a few minutes stroll to the nearby dune enclosed Camber sands beach with it’s miles of beautiful sands, this cottage is the perfect base to enjoy a peaceful and relaxed holiday or weekend break.

Rufty Tufty is the ideal retreat for couples and small families looking for peace and tranquility of a cosy coastal hideaway and a great base in which to explore this unique corner of the country.

The cottage is within easy reach of local amenities - a friendly local pub, a fine dining restaurant and convenience stores are within a short walking distance. Just five miles away is the picturesque, medieval town of Rye which boasts cobbled streets, antique shops, independent retailers, cosy inns & tea rooms and fine restaurants.

Well-appointed, Rufty Tufty has two-bedrooms - one double bed and one with twin beds. The cottage can sleep up to 4 guests.

There is a bathroom upstairs with bath and shower, all linen including towels are provided for your stay.

Downstairs the open plan kitchen and living room is a very sociable and relaxed space with very comfortable seating for 4 people and a dining table that seats 4 guests.

There is also a separate WC downstairs.

In house entertainment includes a smart HDTV with freeview and Netflix in the living room, Bose wireless speaker and free wi-fi access which works throughout the property.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need including oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher fridge freezer and coffee machine. A separate utility area contains a washing machine

Young guests are well equipped for too, with a travel cot, [please bring your own cot bedding], high chair and stair gate all provided for your convenience.

To the rear of the property is a fully enclosed sunny garden area with Weber charcoal bbq.

A private off road covered parking space is also provided.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
