Floreasca is a bit flashier than other parts of town like Kisseleff, Primaverii or Dorobanti if you think in terms of architecture but it compensates with some of the best restaurants in town.
Highlights and tips:
On the left and on the right side of Barbu Vacarescu, next to Floreasca Lake it's sll about nightlife. Most famous clubs are here, Gaia, Fratelli and Bamboo.
The area of Piata Floreasca is the heart of the bar and restaurants scene.
Attractions: Calea Floreasca is the newer part, build near Dorobanti areea. Mostly build in the sixties, it is mainly composed of apartment blocks, The Floreasca emergency hospital and many parks.
Starting year 2000, the developers transformed the north part of Floreasca into bussiness center were the big companies have their offices. To name a few Euro Tower, Floreasca Business Park, Nusco Tower, Sky Tower and Floreasca Tower.
*Tip: When in Floreasca, you are very close to Dorobanti Area, Primaverii and Herastrau. If you have enought time, walk around to see the beautiful houses of the area and the people living there.
Many of Floreasca trendier restaurants, bars and clubs reside in this neighborhood.
The skyscrapers that were build here have also helped give birth to many fancier restaurants, higher-end ethnic food and some more upscale bars. These places can really fill up Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, so plan ahead.

The area of Piata Floreasca is a must-visit. It may not have a lot of attractions, but you will more than likely end up having drinks or a meal in this neighborhood at some point during your time in Bucharest.
