“Excellent!”

This place is in a great location surrounded by beautiful countryside. Great walking & mountain biking on the doorstep. The accommodation is very comfortable & the owners are extremely hospitable. Lovely food available on request too. Our stay was all too short.

Owner's reply: Thank you so much. Looking forward to your next trip already :)

Owner's reply: Cheers Jon - kind of you to take the trouble to review us. Hope to see you back some time.

“Mountain Biking Nirvana”

I can honestly say that this was one of my best weekend rides ever. Brechfa is a truly a beautiful place with many trails and tracks to ride. Mudtrek kindly lent us Jay and Richard to guide us around. They know their stuff! The ride was challenging, a bit like Jays jokes, but worthwhile and varied, unlike Jays jokes. Nikkis food and hospitality was fantastic, good solid home cooked tasty piles of food awaited our return and was devoured with glee. The accommodation was spot on, warm, comfy and clean, but not to the point where a muddy bier starts to feel uncomfortable. If you're going biking, go to Brechfa. If you're going to Brechfa, then go to MudTrek. It is the perfect place to base your riding holiday from.

Owner's reply: Nik Wadge, you have a way with words! Many, many thanks :)

“The best mountain bike trip ever!”

Accomodation - clean, informal, friendly lay-out, all mod-cons, TV, WfFi. Price - competetive, discount for large groups, great value. Food - excellent, tasty, filling, lunches were included. Hosts - Jay, what a guy, knows his stuff, trust him completely. Nikki, always there with a big smile, great cook, all round nice person. Richard, tail gunner, dependable, good laugh. Riding - Hard as hell but more fun that a barrel full of monkeys. In summary - enjoyed it so much I'm going back for more in a few months.

Owner's reply: Blimey! No pressure for your next trip then Tom! Thanks for breaking it down so others can see so easily what we provide. See you in October. Can't wait ;)

“Great mountain biking and food - friendly hosts.”

MudTrek offer great guided rides, comfortable accommodation and wonderful home cooked food. I went as part of a group with MBSwindon. Jay took us on an epic ride that was challenging and fun. We would never have found this route on our own. On our return we were treated to a feast of quality home cooked food in quantities large enough for hungry mountain bikers. As a vegetarian I was delighted with the choice and quality of food on offer. I have already booked a trip.

Owner's reply: Thanks Richard - we now have a lot more pint glasses! See you soon ;)
