Merrimoles is a luxury log cabin with outstanding views of Snowdonia National Park set in a prime park location, within easy walking distance of Bala and Lake Tegid.
With Barmouth beaches only 30 minutes away and a wide variety of activities, scenic walks and watersports on the doorstep the lodge is ideal for relaxing family holidays and weekends away with something to suit everyone. After a busy day out exploring the best that Snowdonia National Park has to offer, you can unwind and relax in the hot tub and take in the beautiful unspoilt views.

Upon arrival we were pleased to see that we were one of the first lodges giving up a great view and we were not overlooked. The lodge itself was very nice and clean. We were close to zip world and bets y coyed. Would definitely recommend and be back. Thankyou Katy xx sorry I was abit like ooo who's this ringing I was drunk in the hot tub

Really lovely accommodation, beautiful location and amazing vista. All basic amenities provided, including dishwasher and clothes washing tablets. Bedding and towels provided and all clean. Locals all really friendly, Bala town very pretty. Very cute steam train ride up to a few lovely walks and nice little pub. Loses a star for having to pay for internet, 10 pound when the accomodation cost should really have covered this. Also lost on the hot tub, lid was broken and therefore a lot of rain water got in, and the water got a bit smelly and green, however we did go during very bad weather so alot of rain water would have got in.
Excellent lodge & perfect location for visiting Wales, walking, hiking or just relaxing. Lodge is more spacious than photos are able to show. Set on a lovely tranquil park in a beautiful setting. Very clean, good amenities & hot tub is a little gem! Just couple of very minor points..kettle didn’t always turn off & shower in en-suite is leaking from bottom of hose connection which was slightly grating at night but shutting the door soon resolved that lol. We’d love to return one day...didn’t want to come home

“The best lodge we have ever stayed in!”
My mum arrived first and she couldn't believe how nice and beautifully decorated it was especially as we had dogs too. The self check in and out was very convienent. The prosseco and chocs were a lovely gesture. The hot tub was lush. Especially after climbing Snowdon.. it was a ready to use bath! The weather was glorious all weekend so the views were spectacular. Bala is a lovely little town and so convienent being so close. All of us will definitely be returning again soon for sure!

We absolutely loved our stay at merrimoles over Christmas. It was the first time our family had visited Bala and we were blown away with your beautiful lodge. Clean, spacious, comfy and styled to a high standard. The bonus for us was the fact that dogs where welcome and of course the hot tub;) would also like to thank you for our lovely gifts you left us, we felt so welcomed. Will 100% recommend to family and friends. Diolch yn fawr :)

“Merrimoles pen y Garth holiday lodges”
Amazing lodge, great hot tub with fantastic views. All amenities supplied which was a bonus. Thank you for the lovely bottle of wine and chocolates. Would definitely deccomend.

We couldn't have enjoyed our stay at Merrimoles anymore. The lodge was amazing and so warm and comfortable on a rainy weekend. The little treats that were left were a lovely surprise and the prosecco went down perfectly in the hot tub!!!! Absolutely loved it from start to finish. Thank you Katy, we'all definitely be back!

“Quite, relaxing, great place!”
Upon arrival we were very impressed with the standard of the cabin and the lovely touches left for us (but we won't spoil it for others!). Great facilities and a great location. The hot tub was was a great benefit to all the family and was very useful from the long days out to ease the aches and pains of ole age ; ) The WiFi was intermittent if you have a technology addicted family and the phone signal was weak....personally this is a bonus to get away from normality - after all this is the countryside kids - hint hint! One gripe was the grounds keeping was bright and too early cutting grass from 08:00 onwards....there goes the lie in for half the stay we were there....10:00 would have been more appreciated, but they do keep the place looking nice!!! I would recommend you try it....

Just returned from a stay at 'Merrimoles'. That's the name for Lodge 67 at the holiday park. This has to be one of the best lodges on the park ... if not the best. Everything you could possibly need is available at the Lodge and all furniture, fittings and items are of the best quality. The hot tub is cleaned and refilled before each let and was a great asset as the weather wasn't too good. As I have a back problem I wasn't looking forward to sleeping in a holiday bed but the quality of all the beds is excellent and I slept well each night. Bala is within walking distance but as pensioners we didn't fancy the return walk which would have been all uphill! The younger members of the party did make the walk though. Our two whippets were welcomed and they could safely use the large deck as it's enclosed by upvc fencing. Be aware of the fridge/freezer isolation switch. It can easily be confused with a light switch! We did and the appliance was off for about 8 hours. Think about having a Tesco shop delivered on your first day. Their vans were regularly on site delivering groceries. Wished we had done that! Visit Llanberis Lake Railway and the National Slate Museum. Betws y Coed is a really pretty place and worth a visit.

If Katy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
