Church View is a beautiful, stone built, detached barn conversion with generous accommodation for 4 people. Renovated in 2008 the property is tastefully furnished with modern facilities. Ideally located in the picturesque Cotswold village of Leighterton, just 4 miles from Tetbury, this is a wonderful setting for a relaxing break.
Leighterton boasts a recently refurbished pub serving traditional English fayre and real ales as well as a fabulous a la carte menu. Many walks can be enjoyed from the village with the Monarchs Way passing the doorstep of Church View.
The property is also ideally located for exploring many of the attractions in the local area. We have listed just a few below.
There is a modern kitchen / diner with access to a private garden area with table and chairs - ideal for barbeques or morning coffee.
The large lounge, with vaulted ceiling and picture window, has a log burner for those colder evenings, a TV with Freeview, and a DVD player with selection of DVDs.
The ground-floor bathroom is well equipped with a corner bath with shower above.
The open staircase leads to two large bedrooms, one double with ensuite cloakroom and one twin.
There is electric heating throughout so you can enjoy your stay whatever the weather and the electricity is included in the tariff. A complimentary basket of logs will be provided for use on the log burner.
All bed linen and towels are included as is a welcome tray with milk, sugar, tea and coffee for that much needed cuppa after your journey.
Children are welcome and a cot, high chair and other equipment can be provided on request - please let us know when you book. If Mum and Dad fancy a well earned evening out, we are happy to arrange baby sitting from a local agency or recommend one of our regular sitters from the village.
Off street parking is available for 2 cars and extra cars can be parked on the quiet road outside

The Cotswolds region
The Cotswolds area is one of England's favourite destinations; famous for hundreds of honey-colour limestone villages in a beautiful rural setting. With no theme parks or long queues for 'rides', the Cotswolds is a restful sort of place where time slips away happily and a Blackberry is something that you make jam with.
But don't think there's nothing to do. A typical day in the Cotswolds will see visitors enjoying everything from Archery to Zorbing.
As well as the beautiful countryside and walks on the doorstep there are many tourist attractions just a short drive from the village. We have listed just some of them below and within the attached links for more information:
Tetbury (4 Miles) Situated in the 'Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty', the Tetbury of today is one of the most beautiful Cotswold towns with its elegant buildings creating a real sense of timeless beauty, - a delight for those who visit this jewel of the Cotswolds. It is a thriving market town built around its outstanding 17th century Market Hall. As well as offering a unique retail experience with many individually owned shops, it is also a major centre for antiques.
Highgrove (3 Miles)- Home to the Prince of Wales and also Duchy Home Farm where organic fruit and vegetables can be purchased. Highgrove gift shop can be found in Tetbury town centre.
Westonbirt Arboretum (2 Miles) - One of the most spectacular tree gardens in the world and venue for many open air summer concerts. www.forestry.gov.uk/westonbirt
Bath (20 miles) Famous Roman city with great shopping and restaurants as well as the renowned Bath House Spa.

"Spacious, well equipped house in a beautiful area; great base to explore this part of England!"
We stayed here with our three young children for 11 nights in July. Church view is a beautifully decorated barn; clean, spacious and very well equipped. It is located in an ideal area, easily accessible to many nearby sights and attractions, provided you have a car.
The weather during our stay was excellent which added to our very enjoyable holiday and we would highly recommend this property to family and friends alike.

"Delightful, modern cottage in a picturesque village"
We really enjoyed our break in this lovely well equipped cottage. Jo made us very welcome
and the village is within easy reach of the beautiful Westonbirt Aboretum, Badminton and of
course the Cotswolds. There a good pub/restaurant in the village and the town of Tetbury is about 4 miles away with a large supermarket and many interesting antique shops. This is a charming area and we hope to return to Church View soon, just hope Jo can order the same fab weather we had this time.

"A delightful cottage, peacefully situated and well-equipped"
A small, quiet, village off the beaten track,Leighterton - which boasts a duck pond and a pub - is conveniently situated for Tetbury, Malmesbury and other Cotswold towns. The cottage, which is next door to the owners' house, is spacious, clean and well-equipped with comfortable beds and a sheltered garden area with seating. We can highly recommend it as a base for exploring the area.
