About the home

This fully air-conditioned, architect designed, contemporary villa with breathtaking sea views from every room, has been built with indulgent luxury in mind. There are three large master suites with king size beds, dressing rooms, large balconies or terraces, en-suite shower rooms and free standing baths. The largest suite takes over the whole of the top floor which has a wall of glass and doors leading to a private balcony with jacuzzi and sun beds. The second suite is on the 1st floor also to include a large balcony with furniture. The third, on the lower floo,r is a family suite suitable for two adults and two children (on a sofa bed). This leads out to a large terrace area and the children's pool with pool and table tennis facilities. There are TVs with satellite plus a PlayStation 3 in the lounge area.

This accommodation has recently been constructed using the finest quality materials and highest specifications.

Upon entering Serenity Villa II you will be instantly presented with breath-taking sea views framed by the wall of glass which allows for a 180° unobstructed vision. The contemporary, open plan lounge area leads onto the grey and white, high gloss, kitchen with Siemens fridge, freezer, cooker, gas hob and microwave. This is topped with white granite worksurfaces and a a huge table and breakfast bar area. Sliding glass doors from the lounge and kitchen lead onto a huge terrace, Jacuzzi and pool, BBQ and eating areas.
Stairs lead up to the first floor which has a master suite with king-size bed and includes a freestanding bath overlooking Kalkan Bay. Further to this is the marble clad wetroom/ensuite and a dressing area with large wardrobes. A huge terrace leads from this bedroom, complete with a contemporary furniture set where you can relax and take in both sea and mountain views. Also on this floor is a double bedroom with balcony, sea views and wet room/shower ensuite. The third bedroom on this floor is a large twin room with dressing area, large ensuite/shower wetroom and large wraparound balcony with rattan furniture and sea and mountain views.
From the first floor, stairs lead you to the top floor mastersuite. A whole floor dedicated to relaxation with its super kingsize bed overlooking the bay of Kalkan, glass walls leading to the large semi-covered private terrace with an outdoor jacuzzi, rattan sunbeds topped with deep cushions for total comfort. The luxury doesn’t stop here, there is a further large ensuite in the wetroom/shower area.

Finally stairs lead down from the lounge area and lead you to the gym, with state of the art gym equipment and a large indoor Jacuzzi, all with sea views. From here you can access the shower room, separate WC and laundry room with Siemens washing machine and tumble dryer. The final master family suite is also situated on this floor. This spectacular room includes a super king size bed, sofa bed for two children, free standing bath, shower room, seperate dressing area and, once again, the amazing sea views. Sliding doors from both the bedroom and gym lead out onto the sunbathing and entertainment terrace and the children’s pool.

Further details outdoors:
This house is set on one of the largest plots in the area and has extensive sunbathing terraces, both covered and uncovered. There are rattan sunbeds topped with luxurious, deep filled cushions, a covered ottoman seating area and two further rattan sofa sets so everyone can relax and find their own personal space to admire the views or unwind with a book. A sliding door from the kitchen area leads around to an outdoor undercover dining area to provide seating for 10 people. A barbeque/fireplace is situated in this area.

The Villa has gardens on all sides of the property with planted shrubs and fruit trees.

The outdoor (unheated) 15m x 5m private pool and jacuzzi area offers tiled patio areas which have sunbeds and parasols. A waterfall from the swimming pool leads down to the large garden terrace. Here you will find a children's pool with sunbathing areas and the pool and tennis tables.

There is also an outdoor shower.

Outdoor lighting is supplied around the villa and at the front of the property.

There is an external CCTV system.

The infinity pool is1.85m depth. We advise that children are supervised at all times when in and around pool/jacuzzi area and around terrace and railings by a responsible adult and never left alone. Please make sure no one climbs on the balconies both inside and outside the property. No inflatables in infinity pool due to the infinity edge.

The Villa is appointed with the highest level equipment, Siemens appliances and designer furnishing throughout. Outside there are two floors of terraces with outdoor eating, seating and sunbathing areas including a covered lounge/eating area. The 15x5m infinity pool includes an infinity jacuzzi are positioned to enjoy the stunning sea and mountain views. Inside the contemporary luxury continues with rooms having walls of glass to maximise the breath-taking sea views from every room. The property is set over 4 floors with the top floor being dedicated to a huge master suite, plus two additional master suites. The property is ideal for families and has an outdoor children's pool with table tennis and pool tables. A well-equipped gym with indoor jacuzzi plus large balconies, marble flooring, laundry room, flat screen TVs, PlyStation 3, satellite, internet and air-conditioning are included to complete the perfect retreat. Whilst in an exclusive and quiet location, Kalkan, with it's beautiful, winding, cobbled streets and excellent restaurants, is only a short walk away.The villa is fully air-conditioned. There is a large carport for two cars as well as additional parking spaces ouside the property. The villa has an external CCTV system. The pool and outside areas are cleaned daily with towels (including pool) and linens changed weekly.

Conditions

We shall require a non-returnable booking deposit of 25% of the total cost of the accommodation and the outstanding balance to be paid 8 weeks before the first day of your holiday. If, in the unlikely event of a cancellation, you prefer not to use your holiday cancellation insurance, deposits can be used to secure a future booking within a 12 month period. We also require a £350 breakage and damages deposit payable with final balance, which will be returned subject to no breakages, damage or loss, within two weeks of the final day of the holiday. Flights are not included in the price of the villa.

CURRENT OFFER: Free private transfers for up to 10 people.

Please be aware that due to the hilly nature of the area, there are a lot of steps and therefore the villa may not be suitable for the very elderly or infirm. Also, please be reminded to watch children at all times, especially round the pool and near steps and balconies, they should never be left unattended. There is a NO SMOKING policy inside the villa.

Kalkan is a beautiful and sophisticated, bougainvillea covered harbour village set in the heart of the old Lycian region. It is cosmopolitan, with good quality restaurants and great places to stay. The Kalkan area

Winding cobbled streets of Old Kalkan Town offer many individual shops including boutiques, jewellery, art, bags, shoes and traditional Turkish ware. These colourful shops and excellent restaurants and bars are combined with stunning views; whether you are looking up to the dramatic mountains behind the town, or down across the harbour to the broad sweep of the Mediterranean – the view of which, we guarantee, will never tire you!

The standard of dining in Kalkan is a wonderful surprise. Kalkan hosts approx 160 restaurants of which many offer rooftop, outside and harbourside dining and have seated rattan areas or Turkish Ottomans for enjoying cocktails, coffees or after dinner drinks.

Kalkan is a beautiful uncommercialised fishing port which attracts the sophisticated traveller. Its abundance of restaurants and wealth of historical places to visit leave a lasting impression of most visitors wanting to return to this idyllic beautiful place. A private cruise of the coastline offers a spectacular day out for all the family offering swimming in the crystal clear water whilst anchored in the bays. “Wonderful modern luxurious villa..!” We stayed for 10 days ( 3 families ) and all had a fantastic holiday. The villa is simply fantastic...stunning views, wonderful outdoor spaces and a great BBQ and al fresco eating area. The pool is a really good size and excellent for working off the food and drink...and nobody floated away over the infinity end...! Bedrooms were beautiful with amazing sized beds..!! Balconies all command great views... Quite honestly difficult to fault the villa..we'd go back in a flash..!

“Stunning Villa!” Recently returned from a week at Serenity II - a fantastic villa with the most amazing views. Prior to booking this villa I did an awful lot of research to find the perfect place to stay that would suit our party of varying ages from 9 years to 76! My search also incorporated several countries including Spain, France, Italy, Croatia and Greece. It is difficult to find a property of this standard and price in other countries so we finally agreed on Turkey and Serenity II. The villa is simply stunning and is perfect for a large group - it's very spacious and we never felt on top of each other. There are various levels outdoors and we all had our favourite spots. The view from all rooms is really lovely both in the day and the evening. The modern interiors are a high standard and the villa has a bit of a 'Miami south beach' relaxed vibe to it. You can walk into Kalkan in about 15 minutes (although perhaps not recommended in very high shoes!). It's best to get a taxi back up the hill! Taxi's are plentiful and not expensive. We dined in several restaurants in Kalkan including Salt & Pepper, Aubergine and Trio and found them all to be excellent in terms of quality of food and value. We also hired a boat for the day and cruised around the bay/surrounding islands and would highly recommend doing this, it was so relaxing. The locals in Kalkan were so friendly and the service was excellent. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Serenity II, it certainly lives up to the photos and was even more than we expected. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly when making my reservation and responded very promptly to all pre-holiday queries I had. All members of our party loved the holiday and we hope to return to Serinity II in the not too distant future.

“Truly amazing private villa with outstanding features and views” We had a holiday to dream about with such an idyllic villa having magnifcient views overlooking Kalkan Bay. We could relax in the choice of three pools or work out in the gym or just laze on the sun lounges, all in total privacy, as we so desired. The furniture and all of the equipment were of the highest quality to match the high standard of the villa. The Kalkan Bay area was extremely pleasant, being quaint and peaceful with a marvelous choice of restaurants-some overlooking the busy harbour. Last year we stayed in Serenity 1 Villa and Serenity II met with the same high standards so we were not disappointed. We had a wonderful relaxing holiday in luxurious and sophisticated surroundings. Lived the high life for 10 days.

“A really fabulous villa” Our family and freinds, 11 in total, stayed at Serenity 2 and our expectations were high. We had nothing to fear, as this new villa is simply spectacular! Big, modern, stylish, well equipped and with views to die for. What more could there be? Oh yes, the infinity pool, the open seating spaces, the big, easy to use BBQ and Gengis the pool boy, who brough bread every day and even cleaned up all the mess that we made! If you are looking for a varied holiday in a really smart villa book it. The town of Kalkan will not let you down either. The shops are great, the restaurants are so friendly and while the beach is not sandy, it is pleasant enough and there are about 5 beach clubs, that each send a little boat to ferry you from the quay in the town to their locations. Don't be worried either, they are not expensive. 6 of us stayed a day at Palm Beach Club, which is lovely and we drank beers and soft drinks all day and had luch... £90 for all of us, thats £15 a head, great value. Shopping for food is easy too and YALI supermarket even delivers and you can pre-order your shop online. Kalkan is still really unspoilt. There is no coach park and so the "football shirts" are nowhere to be seen... praise the lord. Highly recomend it, just make sure you don't book the two weeks we want next year as I will have to fight you for it.
