This villa is located between two historical towns of Sao Bras and Estoi where you can visit the Roman Ruins and many other local historical sites. There are many restaurants in both towns featuring local specialities. It is located only 20 minutes from Faro airport, golf courses, and the beautiful coast where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic Ocean; the water is warm and calm.

“SOCIALIZING BETWEEN THE GREEN AND TRANQUILITY” SOCIALIZING BETWEEN THE GREEN AND TRANQUILITY Casa dos Avós is located in the hills where you can enjoy a fantastic landscape associated with tranquility far away from tourist centers. It is a pleasant stay for relaxation and socializing in a familiar environment. I loved the house with its excellent comfort, the swimming pool is fantastic as well as the surroundings. I emphasize the comfort of the facilities, cleanliness and friendliness of the reception given by Mrs. Isabel. Although the stay wasn't long, it was excellent and invigorating. “Quiet and relaxing with a lovely pool” We stayed here with our 2 children (11 and 8) and had a great holiday. The kids loved the pool and the grounds, especially the hammock. “Relaxing” We had a wonderful time, very relaxing and quiet area. The house was nice and clean, included everything we needed. We had really wonderful days by the nice pool. Isabell and her husband was very helpful. After "the broken chair incident" they delivered two new, really good chairs, early in the morning. Not so close to a restaurant as we thought but the grill was effectiv, we used it often and made some great steaks on it. . We will for sure recommend this house to our friends if they plan to visit Algarve. “Wonderful Peaceful Rural Retreat” This was our third trip to Eastern Algarve and we found everything as described. It was a lovely relaxing holiday with fantastic accommodation. We had everything we could have asked for. The pool was wonderful and the local restaurants warm and inviting. We also had great fun with the barbeque having been to the fish market at Olhao and purchased many strange and wonderful varieties of fish. A car is essential on this holiday and the coast only half an hour's ride away so you can be as relaxed or as busy as you wish. All in all a great holiday and we will return one day soon we hope. “Lovely rural spot with great accomodation” We stayed at Casa dos Avos in August. A car is needed but what we enjoyed was being away from the main tourist resorts in a busy time of the year. The villa is eveything that the owner stated and we loved the peace and tranquility although withing 20 minutes you could be at the coast. We enjoyed travelling in land and sometimes didn't see other vehicles on the roads for many miles. We ate at local restaurants - superb food and good value for money.
