A beautiful semi detached 2 bedroom bungalow nestled in the idyllic village of Georgeham, less than 2 miles away from North Devon's famous golden sandy beaches. We can accommodate up to 6 people and pets are welcome by prior arrangement. There is off road parking for two vehicles plus a pretty garden at the front and a good sized enclosed at the rear.

A cosy retreat, whether you spend the entire day relaxing in the garden or come back in the evenings from a long day at the beach, this house will accommodate all.
As you enter the property all rooms lead off the spacious hallway with beautiful wooden floors running throughout. The lounge is double aspect with uninterrupted views overlooking open fields to the rear, garden and quiet lane to the front. There is a wood burner, 2 comfy sofas, one of which is a sofa bed, piano, dining table and chairs, bookshelves, coffee table and new 32” HD Freeview TV with surround sound. Patio doors allow seamless access into the rear garden with patio, BBQ and level lawn area.
The newly fitted, well equipped kitchen has everything you need to make your stay comfortable including: washer/dryer, large fridge and freezer, breakfast bar, dishwasher, double oven and hob, microwave and view over the garden.
The master bedroom features a large wooden double bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe as well as two bedside cabinets and a full-length mirror, overlooking the front garden.
A twin bedded room with the option to make a large double. Storage is provided in the form of a built in wardrobe with shelving. There are two bedside tables, reading lamps and full-length mirror. This room is at the rear of the property.
The family sized bathroom sits between the two bedrooms it is light and airy, containing a WC, basin with mirror, bath/shower.

There is secure off road parking for two cars. If additional parking is required please request as this can be arranged.
The property sits on a good sized plot of land with gardens at the front and back, with private parking for two cars at the front of the property. At the rear is the main garden with plenty of space for playing, enjoying the BBQ or just relaxing on the patio. A shed in the corner of the garden provides useful for storing bikes and surfboards.

There are NO BOOKING FEES, but we will require a deposit of 25% to secure your booking, then the remaining 75% 6 weeks prior to your holidays. Bookings made less than 6 weeks prior to your booking date will require payment in full.
Once we have confirmed your booking with you we will send you a link via email to our secure Paypal payment site.
We still accept cheques, although the preferred method is via our paypal link. We can help you with this if you have any issues.

WHEN TO BOOK
Our property is very popular and comes highly recommended by previous guests. If you want to secure your booking then you are advised to book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
We do occasionally have some last minute vacancies due to cancellations; these will be updated weekly on our pricing and availability calendar, CLICK HERE. Unfortunately, for guests who do have to cancel, we cannot return your deposit, so we suggest that you take out a holiday insurance package upon booking.
CHANGING A BOOKING
If for any reason you cannot begin your holiday on the date you have booked, we will try our best to fit you in on another date, but this is not guaranteed. If you cannot accept any of the replacement dates, then we will have to view your booking as cancelled and any deposit paid will be lost.
The property may be available for 6 month winter let from October until March at a rate of £700pcm excluding bills.

Wander around traditional fishing villages, market towns or award winning sandy beaches. Explore unspoilt landscapes including Exmoor National Park just 20mins away or perhaps Dartmoor all in parallel with wealth of tourist attractions to suit all ages.
Walk To – You are at the edge of Georgeham village with 2 excellent local pubs, which offer a wide range of local ales and delicious freshly cooked food; a village store with post office, park with football pitch, children’s play area and multiuse sports area. For walkers there is the fantastic South West Coast Path nearby.
Cycle To – We are on sustrans cycle route 278. You can also access the villages and beaches of Croyde, Putsborough, Woolacombe. Croyde is a magical place nestling around a stream running down to the sea. This award-winning sandy beach is fine and flat, ideal for children and good for surfing. Rock pools are in abundance and the dunes are a haven for young and intrepid explorers. Local fun parks for the children such as Cascades Pool Park are a great way to spend the day. Croyde Bay is renowned as a premier surfing beach destination in England for short and long boards. For the more adventurous, kite surfing, volleyball, kayaking and horse riding is on your doorstep. Within walking distance of Croyde beach enjoy its ice cream shop, gourmet restaurants, superb village pubs, surf shops, and art gallery. This classic 'chocolate-box' village is steeped in old-world charm and echoes the feeling of life in Britain in times gone by. Coastal and Countryside walks include the majestic Croyde cliff path to Baggy Point, (and for those energetic), to Woolacombe and beyond. A day at historic Braunton Burrows is great. Cyclists can enjoy the 30-mile Tarka Trail tracking the scenic coastline of North Devon.
Drive – To all of the above, where beachside parking is available. Plus Braunton, Saunton, Woolacombe, Barnstaple, North Devon towns and villages. Explore the beautiful Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks. Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, The Milky Way and The Big Sheep all within driving distance. Cultural days can be passed at Arlington Court, historic Clovelly Village, Watermouth Castle, Lynton, Lynmouth, Victorian-styled Ilfracombe with its quaint fishing harbour and many more. Saunton Golf Course is a mere 3 miles down the road with its 2 famous links courses. Finally, picturesque walks through beautiful forested areas and running rivers such as at Watersmeet will complete your wonderful stay in this beautiful part of England.
Public Transport – Georgeham is serviced by a regular bus route to Barnstaple via Croyde and Braunton, including the train station, which offers regular services to Exeter and beyond.
Boat Trips – Available from Ilfracombe around the stunning North Devon Coast for sightseeing or fishing, or a day trip to Lundy Island, which is a Marine Conservation Zone.
