The Snug is a charming two room,self catering cottage situated in a pretty courtyard to the rear of the Pines, a Georgian (grade 2 listed house)

It has a small patio and seating area facing an established herb garden and access to beautiful shared gardens and grounds that extend over 7 acres, including an Orchard,. The Property was recently fully refurbished and tastfully furnished .The Kitchenette includes an electric fan oven with ceramic hob, microwave/grill & integral fridge with icebox and dishwasher. The ensuite is newly fitted with modern shower over bath, heated towel rail and under- floor heating.

Bideford is 2 miles by car and Barnstaple 6 miles and the towns of Westward Ho ! (with it's lovely beaches) and the Instow Estuary with it's great eating places and coastal walks for dogs are close by.

A visit to Rosemoor RHS is highly recommended and is just 10 miles by car.

On arrival you will be welcomed with a cream tea, a fresh homemade loaf, milk and farm eggs.

Chris is always on hand to give guidance on local places of interest.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
