"Fabulous cottage in a wonderful location"

The cottage is a good way up the path to Moel Siabod. From a walking perspective this is perfect with an ascent of Moel Siabod and back being quite doable in under four hours. It is not too difficult to walk to Cobdens or the Tyn Y Coed for a pint in the evening in Capel Curig (about a mile away), but it is uphill afterwards.

The view in the morning at sunrise is amazing as the sun comes up over a misty valley looking back to Betswy Coed. Of course at about 400 metres up the hills it does mean that sometimes you are in the clouds but that is North Wales!

There is everything you need in this beautiful stone cottage. The garden is fenced all around and suitable for a well behaved dog that is not an escape artist or sheep chaser (there are sheep all around). It is an extremely peaceful and relaxing location.

There is much to like about this location and very little (if anything) that could be done to improve it. However there is a steep road up to the cottage and it is a remote and tucked away location which might not suit everyone. I suspect a 4x4 might be useful in a snowy winter to get up there.

It is suitable for children and a stairgate is provided.

It is great to get 6MB Internet half way up a hill in Wales which enabled me to do some work on my computer.

The property seemed better than the advert.

Thank you so much for your kind comments about Ty Llewelyn. The free WiFi is all part of the high standard of service that we aim to deliver, and we are always striving to make our guests' stay an even better experience. Thank you once again for your feedback and we hope to welcome you back in the near future.
