We have 3 beautifully restored cottages on the lower slopes of Moel Siabod in beautiful Snowdonia. They have unrivalled views of the Llugwy and Ogwen Valleys. The cottages boast underfloor heating on the ground floors and central heating on the 1st floors. The cottages have eco-friendly Air to Water Heat Pumps that provide all the hot water and heating. The kitchens are fully equipped to a high standard and the living rooms have a LCD HD 32" TV with Freesat HD and DVD Player. There is also a CD Player with MP3 connectivity. There is a log burner laid ready for your arrival, with extra logs available from us for £3.00 per sack.

Ty Llewelyn has one double bedroom and one bunk bed room and sleeps 4 (or one extra person on a Z bed at no extra charge, making a total of 5). It is a lovely comfortable cottage and a perfect base for walkers, cyclists, climbers etc.

On arrival, you will be greeted by a tray of goodies, including local Welsh treats, a laid fire ready for lighting and the most spectacular views.

Our village of Capel Curig is approximately 5 miles further into Snowdonia and is famous in its own right, being home to Moel Siabod, the majestic mountain upon which our cottages sit.

Thank you for your review and useful feedback. I am sorry you found the mattress not to your personal liking, I will certainly keep an eye out for other comments about it and replace it if necessary. There is a knife sharpener in the top drawer in the kitchen which you could have used to sharpen the knives. We do also regularly keep them sharpened as part of our maintenance routine so I apologise if you found them to be not acceptable. The road up to the cottages is absolutely fine for any vehicle. In severe weather I think any car might have trouble getting anywhere on any road, so your criticism there may be a little unfair! Thank you once again for the review and I hope we may welcome you back in the future.
